Old Weller Antique 107 proof Straight Bourbon Whiskey 750ml (1 bottle limit)

SKU #1047799

Buffalo Trace distillery's classic wheated-bourbon formula, substituting wheat for rye as the flavor grain in addition to the corn. The result is the same creamy, full-bodied whiskey that made the Van Winkles so famous. Now that all the Pappy is made at Buffalo Trace distillery, it's actually all made from the same formula. This one just happens to cost $24.99 instead. Our official house bourbon here at K&L.

The Old Weller is becoming my everyday favorite. Sure there are pricier and more complex tasting bourbons, but for under twenty bucks, this is one smooth and easy drinking goodness! For something that is 107 proof, you won't even taste the alcohol. No burning sensations in the back of your throat! Such elegance!

For this price point, I have not found a better bourbon. It is smooth and tasty on its own and makes an excellent cocktail. This has become my first choice for whiskey sours. Hard to believe it is 53.5% /vol. I highly recommend this bourbon.

- When people consider domestic wine, they normally think about the state of California. The fine viticultural Region within California, including the Napa Valley, Sonoma, Santa Cruz Mountains, Mendocino and Santa Barbara, are capable of growing grapes of world-class quality. But there's plenty of fabulous wine coming from other states, too. Oregon, Washington and New York are also causing eyebrows (and glassware) to be raised around the world.
