Made from low-yielding 100% monastrell grapes grown in this exceptional winemaking region and produced in small batches using traditional techniques before being aged in old oak barrels and then, for a longer period, in bottle. An intense, jammy and richly woody bouquet. In the mouth, this is mellow, rounded, mature and full-flavored with hints of subtle wood, spices and ripe fruit. Ideally suited to lamb, stews and pork.
