This is declassified Cuvee Louis (Tarlant's top of the line cuvée) that was made for a French pop band by the name of Discobitch. Sometimes truth is stranger than fiction. Luckily, the bubbly is anything but strange, and what a value. Discobitch is a blend of 1/3 Chardonnay, 1/3 Pinot Meunier and 1/3 Pinot Noir made from 2005 reserve wine. First fermentation in temperature controlled stainless steel vats and aged in oak barrels. Dosage is 6 g/l Brut. Bottling was done in May 2006. In this Cuvee we find the freshness of Chardonnay and the richness of the Pinot. The texture is supple and elegant. It is fresh and crisp with some buttery and brioche notes. Bitchin' for parties.
