As a result, there is quite the burgeoning sparkling wine business in Mendoza, and one of the leaders of the pack is Bianchi (you may know the name from our ever popular, bargain priced Elsa Malbec). Composed of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from cool climate vineyards in Mendoza, this is a methode champenoise sparkler, with 15 months on the lees, and a combination of hand and machine (gyro-pallet) disgorging.
