Lots of marionberry and cherry with anise and cola. Has pepper and spice with floral notes blending in nicely on the nose. A bit of forest creeps in over time. First appears sweet, but finishes dry with rather sturdy tannins. This really changes in the glass. Homely marionberry pie develops into bold and dry California merlot.

Merlot

- A very popular red grape variety found in the great wines of St. Emilion and Pomerol.
