Maison Huet has been a leading force in the Vouvray appellation for quite sometime now. Founded in 1928, the estate now covers 35 hectares, which are divided up between three properties: Le Mont, Le Haut-Lieu and Le Clos du Bourg - throughout the region that have been farmed in the biodynamic method since 1990. These wines are stunning and are worth being in your cellar. Legends in the making here! Le Clos du Bourg is six-hectare vineyard site completely surrounded by a stone wall and just above the church in Vovray. Made up of a fairly thin soil, roughly three feet deep, and laying directly on top of non-active limestone the wines are loaded with structure and power. Unreal textural sensation with vibrant acidity and a long long finish.
