Pear, honey, melong and citrus flavors give an impression of great ripeness, amplified by the creamy texture and custardy mouthfeel, but there's also enough crisp acidity for balance. Drink now-2025." (10/09) More dominate slate aromas than in the Kabinett. On the palate it shows more of the succulent '07 fruit character. Juicy pear, slate, and a piquant acidity make for a very racy Spätlese.
