93 points Wine & Spirits Magazine: "This hits the pure passionfruit flavor of finely ripened Sauvignon. It's mouthwatering and firmly structured, with umami flavors of oyster mushrooms and marrow to balance out the fruit. A portion of the blend is Sauvignon Musque (13 percent) and a portion is fermented and aged in French oak barrels (21). The result is delcious with roast fish." (06/09) One star from the Connoisseurs' Guide to California Wine: "Vastly preferred over its older mate listed below, this bright and well-defined bottling starts with properly grassy, green-melon aromas and follows with bright, citrus and herb flavors. A touch on the stiff and angular side at the moment and thus suited to service with shellfish in the immediate term, it should smooth out with time in the cellar and should hold nicely over the next two or three years." (09/08) And, according to Robert Parker: "The delicious 2007 Sauvignon Blanc comes from Knight’s Valley, Alexander Valley, and Mendocino. It exhibits flinty, crisp, melony notes along with a very good texture. Enjoy this hedonistic Sauvignon over the next several years." (12/08)
