Tucked into the Umbrian hills between Todi and Orvieto, the Salviano estate surrounds Lake Corbara and the banks of the Tiber River. Owned by the Marchesa nerina Corsini Incisa della Rocchetta and run with the help of her sons, Piero and Giovanni, the 173 hillsides acres planted to vine reflect the region's rich red clay, tufa and pebbly soils. This wine is a blend of 30% trebbiano toscano, 30% grechetto, 20% chardonnay and 20% sauvignon blanc. Full of ripe fruit aromas, this wine is well-structured and beautifully balanced.
