A flaxen-hued wine, the 2006 Cuvaison Chardonnay comes from the winery's estate vineyards in the Napa section of Carneros. Like a sensory luau, this wine is full of exotic vanilla and lime notes that underscore the lush melon, pineapple and mango fruit. Aged for 9 months in 1/3 new French oak barrels adds textural complexity to the palate.
