94 points and one of the Wine Enthusiast's Top 100 Cellar Selections of 2009: "A gorgeous Cab, rich and complex, that perfectly shows the deep, storng tannins and impeccable structure of Spring Mountain, and Mayacamas Cabs in general. Perfectly ripe in black currants and tobacco, with exotic cedar and mineral overtones, it's beautiful now despite the tannins, but has the balanced stuffing to age effortlessly for a decade." (11/08) And from Wine Spectator: "Broad, dense, rich and concentrated, showing loamy earth, dried currant, berry, sage and mineral, with shades of cedary oak and spice. This has flavors that coat the palate and firm, dry tannins on the finish. Best from 2010 through 2016." (10/08)
