Wine-growers since the beginning of the 19th century, Louis and Jean Tête's domaine is located a few kilometers from Beaujeu, the historical capital of Beaujolais. Though the family business has grown in the last decade, it remains a very hands-on, family winery, even when it comes to their light and lively Nouveau, which is bottled, like all Tête wines, at the estate. They use the traditional "Pot bottle", which were once wide-spread in Beuajolais, and are made of made of clear glass and a slightly different shape than the modern glass.
