With a name like Maria Gomes, you know it has to be good. And in case you are not super well versed in the native grape varietals of Portugal, Maria Gomes is not a person, but a grape variety. This sparkling number is dry, but very fruity, with a floral nose, a spicy tang and a surprsingly long finish for so modest a price tag. Enjoy at parties, with small bites or just on its own.
