93 points Wine Enthusiast: "A dark charactered wine, with solid tannins and firm, extracted fruit flaovrs. The berry fruits are juicy and sweet, with the dusty tannins coming from the Cabernet in the blend. The finishi is softer, more black jelly in texture." (04/10) 90-92 points Robert Parker. 90-92 points Stephen Tanzer: "Bright ruby-red. Very pure aromas of cassis, minerals, licorice and bitter chocolate, all lifted by a note of violet. Sweet, broad and round for the vintage, with lovely energy to the flavors of cassis, chocolate, minerals, menthol and flowers. Juicy and sophisticated wine with terrific balance and no dip in the middle. Finishes with subtle complexity and length and sweet, fine-grained tannins. A major success for the year." (May/June '08) 89 points Wine Spectator: "Smoke, tobacco, berry and mineral aromas lead to a full body, with fine, silky tannins and a long finish. Polished and well-made." (03/10) K&L's notes - Tasted at the property. Only 30 hectoliters per hectare. 74% cabernet sauvignon, 26% merlot. Deep color. Nose a bit reserved early in the day. Some minerals on the nose and palate. Still hard to taste. At the UGC tasting, this wine was again reserved on the nose, but had good sweet fruit on palate. Ralph: * Nice, deep fruity texture and flavor. Good mouthfeel. Please note - 2007 Bordeaux futures are not in stock, but will arrive between Jan 2010 and Dec 2010. We will contact you for shipping instructions.
