The Arette Reposado is my absolute favorite tequila. It isn't the best I've ever tasted, but it is my favorite. Here's why: it smells like fresh agave, despite the barrel aging, which only adds baking spices to the background of the bouquet. It is simultaniously graceful, yet spicy upon the first sip. It balances the bridge between smooth sipper and bright shooter like no other tequila I've tasted. The Arette is not new world, over-oaked, viscous monster like some other highly-touted tequilas I've tasted. It is subtle and beautiful, and it never gets old. I will always have a bottle in my home bar for my post-carnitas tacos indulgence and I can't recommend it highly enough. (David Driscoll, K&L Spirits Buyer)
