The winery of Moraitis family is located in Naousa, Paros by the beach of Aghioi Anargyroi. It was started in 1910 by grandfather Manolis Moraitis. He cultivated his own grapes, while he also gathered and vinified grapes from the whole island. Using his own ship he sold the wine from great wooden barrels in various parts of Greece. Four generations later things have changed; the wines are bottled, not sold by ship and the winery has been modernized to better capture the flavors of the vineyards. This dry white wine blends organically grown monemvasia, malagouzia and asyrtiko grape varieties. Its pale yellow color casts vivid green reflections and sends aromas of flowers and clean fruit wafting through the air. Bright and mouthwatering this crisp characterful wine is delicious with grilled fish, octopus salad, or just on the beach in Naousa.
