90 points from Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Bright ruby. Floral raspberry and kirsch aromas are open and impressively pure. Tangy red berry flavors are complicated by peppery herbs and spices and gain weight with air. Finishes with good sweetness and a pleasing bitter cherry skin flavor. The tannins are folded suavely into the fruit." (Nov/Dec 2007) 88-90 points from Robert Parker: "The deep ruby/plum-hued 2006 Syrah reveals sweet aromas of cassis, black cherries, licorice, smoke, and earth. It should drink well for 4-5 years."
