This wine is made from Pedro Ximenez grapes grown east of Jerez in Montilla. Made from a select batch, the wine is aged in barrel and released when ready to drink. Black in color, syrupy thick and very sweet, this wine still manages to be balanced. A fantastic way to finish out the evening, this is one of the classic dessert wines of the world! I find it an outstanding deal for the money! (Gary Westby, K&L Champagne and Sherry buyer)
