*Cellar Selection* This wine is well balanced, rich and unctuous, the sweetness and denseness so carefully blended with acidity, orange zest and dry botrytis. It is a gorgeous, ripe wine, intense but retaining its freshness. (2/ 2009)
Shows apricot tart, with hints of candied lemons on the nose. Full-bodied and medium sweet, with lovely concentration and a lemony, spicy, almost flinty aftertaste. Impressive for the vintage. Very lively and zingy on the finish. Best after 2009. (8/ 2007)
Reticent, cooler nose suggests menthol and vanilla. Then quite sweet, dense and silky, even thick for 2004. Currently dominated by brown spices, especially clove, but with a broad and seamless texture. This has struck me as unusually rich and sweet for Climens from the beginning. A real spice bomb today, and nicely long on the aftertaste. (12/ 2007)
