Wild and earthy, the word garrigue literally translates from French as "scrubland" but it refers to the powerful aroma of the wild plants in the Languedoc and, in turn, of this wine. One of the Languedoc's most sought after wines for its superb balance between price and pleasure. This is a third each grenache, syrah and mourvèdre with a bouquet of black fruit, cherry, wild herbs and, of course, garrigue, punctuated by hints of leather, game and black pepper. The wine is bold on attack, rounding out to become juicy and seductive with already mature tannins. Fun and delicious, don't miss this wine!
