2006 Campo al Mare Vermentino di Toscana

SKU #1033112

The Campo al Mare Vermentino is produced from grapes cultivated in the Bolgheri, Suvereto and upper Maremma zones. The wine remains on the lees, without oak, for about a month. Malolactic fermentation is blocked to preserve fruit and acidity. The wine is pale straw colored with green highlights with a nose dominated by white and delicate tropical fruits complemented by notes of herb and sage (stronger because of the addition of 5% sauvignon blanc). Crisp, clean and well-balanced this wine is delicious and a delight to drink.
