This Late Harvest Zinfandel comes from Dry Creek's Bella Vineyard, known for the complexity, intensity and acidity of their fruit. Clear and focused this wine walks the line of sweetness, never becoming cloying and finishing clean, crisp with a hint of sweetness. Lower vine yields in 2006 mean there is half the normal amount of this favorite dessert wine available, so act fast. According to Wine & Spirits: "A zinny take on Port, this is sweet and balanced, with lasting black fruit. Decant it for blue cheese."
