These are some grand snifters, and I love drinking my Calvados and Cognac out of them. The extra large balloon style might be out of fashion, and most people don't have the patience to deal with fragile, mouth blown glasses, but I get a tremendous amount of pleasure out of my pair. While the large size makes cask strength Armagnac go over the top, with regular proof Cognac and especially Calvados, I have not experienced a better glass! A bottle of Camut and a Schott Zwiesel Enoteca Cognac Snifter is a very elegant way to end the evening!
