One of the finest efforts from Coufran in many years, this plump, fat, dense 2000 shows excellent concentration, plenty of mocha-infused black cherry fruit flavors, medium body, good glycerin, and no hard edges. Drink it over the next decade. (4/ 2003)
Pretty aromas of crushed raspberries, cherries and light wet earth. Full-bodied, with firm, silky tannins and a medium finish. Nice wine for the money. Always solid in a top vintage. Best after 2005. (7/ 2003)
