Second wine of Doisy-Védrines. Great value! The 2001 Doisy got 93 points from Wine Spectator and this review: "Lots of lemon curd and vanilla character, with hints of spices. Full-bodied, sweet and very fresh, with a spicy, honey aftertaste. A beautifully balanced Sauternes. Spicy and chunky on the finish. Best after 2008." (09/04)
