Bulleit Bourbon Frontier Whiskey 750ml

SKU #1011284 90-95 points Wine Spectator

An intensely grainy bouquet. The palate entry is corny sweet and nearly honey-like; at midpalate the core flavor of sweet corn mash remains while tastes of buttered popcorn, brown sugar, and nougat expand. Finishes with a spurt of fire and lots of long, corny/grainy tastes. Should be part of every serious whiskey-lover's collection. (9/ 2006)

K&L Notes

*Silver Medal - 2006 San Francisco World Spirits Competition* Bulleit is owned by a small family in Lawrenceburg. This bottling has been aged seven years and has a high rye component in the mash which gives the bourbon a rich, oak aroma with hints of vanilla. It is made in small batches and is very, very well balanced! Our staff had the wonderful opportunity to be educated by Tom Bulleit. It is always sure a pleasure to have the creators of these fantastic produces at our stores. This is one the staff takes home!

Smooth, some vanilla and oak, hint of pleasant sourness...doesn't need any water, but good with a little ice.

- When people consider domestic wine, they normally think about the state of California. The fine viticultural Region within California, including the Napa Valley, Sonoma, Santa Cruz Mountains, Mendocino and Santa Barbara, are capable of growing grapes of world-class quality. But there's plenty of fabulous wine coming from other states, too. Oregon, Washington and New York are also causing eyebrows (and glassware) to be raised around the world.
