Laurent-Perrier "Cuvée Rosé " Brut Rosé Champange
Elegant and fruity at the same time with a quick invitation from bright, pure cherryish notes and then filled out handsomely by whiffs of chalky soils and well-integrated, rich and uplifting yeast-driven scents, this wine manages to be both vigorous and layered at one and the same time. Its bubbles are insistent, finely carved and add to the early sensations of lightness and energy yet also carry the wine long into a balanced, refined finish. And its latter palate grip is exactly what one should expect from the genre. While service with light foods would be our first choice, this one has the beauty to stand alone.
Shows fine balance, with a vibrant tanginess to the flavors of black currant, strawberry, licorice and candied ginger. Features a fine, creamy bead, revealing a lasting note of smoky mineral on the finish. Drink now through 2018. Tasted twice, with consistent notes.

Bright orange-pink. Powerful aromas of raspberry, rhubarb, fresh flowers and Asian spices, with a toasty element in the background. Intense red fruit flavors are braced by tangy acidity and pick up notes of anise and toasty lees with air. Bright and racy on the finish, which shows excellent clarity and persistence.

Moderate salmon hue with an active bead. Shy nose with whiffs of cherry and vanilla. Bright flavors of cherry pie, strawberry and creamy vanilla shine on the palate and offer a toasty appeal. Tart cherry fruit joined by tangy citrus elements in the finish.
Made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes from a total of ten 100% rated Grands Crus villages, this Champagne gets its glorious pink color and rounded red fruit flavors from a process known as "saigneé," in which the skins of the grapes are left in contact with the juice for three days.
