Billecart-Salmon "Brut Reserve" Champagne (375ml)

SKU #100016 91 points Wine & Spirits

This is a graceful, vinous Champagne with dramatic high notes of roses and red fruit, finishing clean with a grounding of pale earthiness. It’s a lovely prediction of what Champagne might become in a warming climate. (12/ 2013)

91 points Wine Enthusiast

This is a finely balanced non-vintage Brut. It has great swathes of yellow fruit and crisp lime flavor that lend a stylish freshness. Already showing some touches of toast and bottle age, this is a ready-to-drink wine. (12/ 2013)

90 points Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar

(40% pinot meunier, 30% pinot noir and 30% chardonnay; L200352): Light, bright gold. Fresh red berries, orange zest and white flowers on the perfumed nose. Juicy and precise, offering energetic redcurrant and blood orange flavors that show good concentration and a supple texture. A mineral nuance adds bite to the finish, with the floral note echoing. (12/ 2013)

90 points Wine Spectator

Bright, with tangy acidity and a lively bead, this displays fruit-forward flavors of macerated apricot, pineapple and Granny Smith apple, with hints of ginger, biscuit and kumquat. Drink now through 2016. (10/ 2013)

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate

The NV Brut Reserve is an attractive, easygoing wine with good up-front fruit and an accessible personality. Flowers, dried pears and spices are some of notes that linger on the finish. (11/ 2011)

K&L Notes

A half bottle of one of the world's most delightful Grande Marques. This cuvee is rich, clean and refreshing. The wine has a lot of pretty green apple fruit, a creamy texture and elegant, tiny bubbles. (Gary Westby, K&L Champagne buyer)

Pale salmon color in the glass. Yeasty, biscuity nose with hints of floral cherry. A delicate & elegant wine similar to the nose. A delicious aperitif to our Thanksgiving feast!
