Billecart-Salmon "Brut Reserve" Champagne (375ml)

SKU #100016 91 points Wine Enthusiast

Made with a high proportion of Pinot Meunier, this is elegant, fruity, with plenty of good acidity and a wonderful floral character. It is so fruity, fresh, a wine for real enjoyment. (12/ 2011)

90 points Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar

Pale gold. Fresh peach, pear and nectarine on the nose, with a complicating note of white flowers. Fleshy, plush and ripe, with strong peach and ripe pear flavors in a more powerful and less restrained style than last year's release. Firms up on the finish, picking up a mineral note and showing very good balance and length. (12/ 2006)

89 points Wine Spectator

A dry, chalky Champagne, with hints of biscuit, lemon curd and white peach. Medium-bodied, with a fresh finish. Drink now. (Web-2011)

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate

The NV Brut Reserve is an attractive, easygoing wine with good up-front fruit and an accessible personality. Flowers, dried pears and spices are some of notes that linger on the finish. (11/ 2011)

K&L Notes

A half bottle of one of the world's most delightful Grande Marques. This cuvee is mostly Chardonnay, rich and also clean and refreshing. The wine has a lot of pretty green apple fruit, a creamy texture and elegant, tiny bubbles. (Gary Westby, K&L Champagne buyer)

Pale salmon color in the glass. Yeasty, biscuity nose with hints of floral cherry. A delicate & elegant wine similar to the nose. A delicious aperitif to our Thanksgiving feast!
