Billecart-Salmon "Brut Reserve" Champagne (375ml)
Wine & Spirits
This is a graceful, vinous Champagne with dramatic high notes of roses and red fruit, finishing clean with a grounding of pale earthiness. It’s a lovely prediction of what Champagne might become in a warming climate.
This is a finely balanced non-vintage Brut. It has great swathes of yellow fruit and crisp lime flavor that lend a stylish freshness. Already showing some touches of toast and bottle age, this is a ready-to-drink wine.

(40% pinot meunier, 30% pinot noir and 30% chardonnay; L200352): Light, bright gold. Fresh red berries, orange zest and white flowers on the perfumed nose. Juicy and precise, offering energetic redcurrant and blood orange flavors that show good concentration and a supple texture. A mineral nuance adds bite to the finish, with the floral note echoing.
Bright, with tangy acidity and a lively bead, this displays fruit-forward flavors of macerated apricot, pineapple and Granny Smith apple, with hints of ginger, biscuit and kumquat. Drink now through 2016.
Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
The NV Brut Reserve is an attractive, easygoing wine with good up-front fruit and an accessible personality. Flowers, dried pears and spices are some of notes that linger on the finish.
A half bottle of one of the world's most delightful Grande Marques. This cuvee is rich, clean and refreshing. The wine has a lot of pretty green apple fruit, a creamy texture and elegant, tiny bubbles. (Gary Westby, K&L Champagne buyer)
