Well, Rod Berglund has done it again. The 2008 Cuvee is the best Cuvee I have tried, even better than the 2007 which recieved 93 points from the Wine Spectator. The 2008 is a darker, heavier wine than the previous couple of vintages. A little more blue fruit blended in nicely with the cherry and raspberry fruits. Cola, spice, anise, rhubarb and earth lovingly balanced with a finish that lasts forever. The complexity and layers of flavor in this wine are incredible. This is a pinot that everyone will love. This is the entry level wine from this great wine producer. The fruit comes from the same vineyard as the higher priced wine($89.99) it just sees a little bit less time in wood and much less time in the bottle. A beautiful pinot noir with rich cherry fruit, acidity and structure. Flavors of tobacco, cola, plum and just a hint of cedar and vanilla. California body with a Burgundy soul. Reminds me of Flowers and Williams Selyem during the 90's.This is a producer you will hear a lot about in the future.(Mike Jordan, K&L Wine Merchants)

A beautiful Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir from grower/producer Eric Sussman of Radio-Coteau. Fresh and bright Strawberry and cranberry with just a hint of blue fruit. Medium body with a hint of tobacco, forest floor and cinnamon. A beautiful Sonoma Coast wine from the uneven 2008 North Coast vintage.(Mike Jordan, K&L Wine Merchants)
