Lagavulin was established in 1830 and has the driest start of all single malts. Full amber in color with adominant sherry nose. Full-bodied yet smooth. Their 1991 Single Cask is autumn gold in color with a rich berry fruit aroma accented by hints of vanilla and white chocolate on the nose. So the boys at St. George started off with a smoky brown ale made with heavily roasted barley, which imparts a nutella like aroma.
