The Glenrothes Distillery was founded in 1879 in Speyside, the heart of the Scottish Highlands and heartland of malt distillation. Their 1991 Single Cask is autumn gold in color with a rich berry fruit aroma accented by hints of vanilla and white chocolate on the nose. The palate is soft, with flavors of coconut, vanilla and butterscotch that finish with a lingering vanilla sweetness.

NOSE: Dry. Pronounced wood smoke. Hints of treacle toffee. PALATE: Sweet chocolate and citrus notes combine with a peaty salty twist. CONCLUSION: Delightful and enticing. Moreish.
