This spectacular Champagne is made from one plot, the "9 Arpents" in the village of Moussy. This vineyard is all Meunier, and the vines are 70 years old and pre-date the arrival of cloned vines in Champagne. This is Champagne is composed of 39% Chardonnay, 41% Pinot Noir and 20% Meunier sourced from a combination of the largest estate in Champagne and purchased fruit.This is the 36th Moet Rose Vintage- the first was the 1920. Copper pink in color, this Rose has a fresh dough and a restrained strawberry note on the nose. The wine is subtle and intriguing to smell, but powerful in the mouth, with tons of rose flavor.
