There are few plances where the Cab/Syrah blend is as successful as it is in Washington and few winemakers that pull it off better than Charles Smith. The fruit was sourced from the biodynamically farmed En Cerise vineyard on the Valley floor, which was planted in 1997. The fruit from this wine comes from Farina Vineyard, a little, organically farmed hillside plot tucked into the northeast side of Sonoma Mountain. On the nose it's all honey and Manzanita with hints of spiciness, salinity and citrus.
