Once again , this wine hits the spot. Great wine at a great price. Luscious red fruit, hint of blue fruit, forest floor, a pinch of baking spices. A balanced, cold weather pinot noir. The wine won't last very long, it has very limited production. (Mike Jordan, K&L Wine Merchants)

The fruit sources for this medium-bodied Syrah are split evenly between the Santa Cruz Mountains and Monterey County. Medium-bodied, with mineral, rhubarb and plum fruit and subtle lavender and vanilla overtones. Mouthcoating tannins and good acidity make this a fresher, vibrant Syrah for drinking young with hearty foods.

This is the perfect after dinner wine, contemplative, complex and comforting. A blend of 53% Cabernet Sauvignon, 27% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc this is a familiar blend presented in an entirely different way. From all free run juice this has an outstanding nose of mocha, carob, black currant, camphor and tarragon. Intense is a word that I wrote about this wine but to most that would be misleading.
