Some may perceive a lack of quality here, just because the Dashwood S.B. is priced so very low. That would be a big mistake. Once in a while a true value like this one crops up, and those who are willing to spend a lot less than they typically do for a bottle of wine are repaid in spades. In a plentiful vintage, some vineyards in Burgundy produce more wine than they can legally sell. When they do, they declassify the overage as Vin de Table.
