In a plentiful vintage, some vineyards in Burgundy produce more wine than they can legally sell. When they do, they declassify the overage as Vin de Table. This white Burgundy from the Mâcon falls into that category. It is actually 2008 Mâcon Villages, but the crop was large and the market softer, thanks to the weak dollar.
