2013 Maison William Fèvre Chablis "Champs Royaux"

90 points James Suckling: "This is really delicious with sliced green apple, stone and melons. Medium to full body. Crisp finish. Focused. Drink now." (6/2015)90 points Wine Spectator: "A hint of thyme and chive perks up the melon and grapefruit flavors in this crisp white. ending with a mouthwatering finish." (4/2015) Antonio Galloni: "Apricot, yellow stone fruit, slate and savory herbs are laced together in the Chablis Champ Royaux. The combination of soft, radiant fruit and persistent stony, saline notes makes for a highly appealing Chablis to drink now and over the next few years. 2013 Domaine Gerard Tremblay Chablis Vieilles Vignes

Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Pale bright yellow. Lemon, honey and a suggestion of redcurrant on the nose, along with a note of oyster shell. Larger-scaled and broader than the regular village offering, with subtle stone fruit flavors deepened by underlying minerality. This rather round village wine finishes with persistent stone fruit flavors. (ST)" (7/2014)

2013 Domaine Gerard Tremblay Chablis 1er Cru "Fourchaume" Vieilles Vignes

Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "High-pitched aromas of lemon zest, lavender and white pepper. Surprisingly supple on entry, then round and pliant but dry in the middle, showing moderate intensity and depth to its lemony fruit. A tad tart on the back end, but this is ultimately more typical Chablis than the 2012 version. (ST)" (7/2014)

This textured, expressive, mid-weight Chablis is an excellent choice for drinking over the next few years. (AG)" (8/2014) Allen Meadows - Burghound: "A more complex nose features notes of exotic dried yellow fruit, white flowers and a whiff of sea breeze. 2014 Domaine de Biéville (Louis Moreau) Chablis New! Top Pick!
2014 Domaine de Biéville (Louis Moreau) Chablis

This estate is owned by Louis and Anne Moreau, who farm it with great care. They have stopped using all pesticides, reduced herbicides, and started plowing between rows instead of spraying. The vines here are almost 50 years old. The Bieville is always a bit rounder and richer in character than their Louis Moreau Chablis, but retains the same sense of freshness and bright minerality to accompany the lovely floral notes.

2012 Domaine Louis Michel "Butteaux Vieilles Vignes" Chablis (Pre-Arrival)

92 points Antonio Galloni: "Deep, dense and powerful, the 2012 Chablis Butteaux Vieilles Vignes captures the essence of this old-vine parcel while maintaining plenty of the freshness and verve that are the hallmarks of Butteaux. Overall, the 2012 is a vertical wine built on pure old-vine structure. Ideally, the 2012 needs another year or more in bottle, but it is terrific. The Vieilles Vignes was bottled a full seven months later than the straight Butteaux. --" (8/2014) 90-91 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Sweet-saline, iodine-tinged shrimp shell reduction and oyster liqueur along with fresh lemon and lime mouthwatering ...Read More »

2010 Domaine William Fèvre Chablis Grand Cru "Bougros" (Pre-Arrival)

92-95 points Allen Meadows - Burghound: "*Don't miss!* A restrained nose of citrus, floral, mineral reduction and algae slides into impressively rich, powerful, serious and concentrated flavors that are almost painfully intense on the explosive and strikingly long finish. This is a classic Bougros with its robust and muscular big-bodied flavors." (10/2011)93 points Wine & Spirits: "With 10.18 acres, Fèvre owns one-third of this grand cru, a southwest-facing hillside that produced a spherical wine locked in a Kimmeridgian limestone shell. The pure and sleekly muscular flavors possess a silky texture that continues onto the mineral-driven, intense, mouth coating and beautifully balanced finish. This is seriously impressive." (10/2014)92 points Antonio Galloni: "Nuanced and delineated throughout, the 2012 Chablis Montée de Tonnerre has a weightless intensity that is impossible to miss. This is very Les Clos in character as it too combines muscle and finesse to inimitable effect." (6/2010)93 points Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Pale, bright yellow. The aromatics are just a touch reduced at this stage, but that is not surprising considering I tasted the wine from tank. Densely packed, chewy and tactile; a bit smaller-scaled than the Vaudesir but strong integrated acidity perfectly balances the wine's sweetness and gives the palate outstanding cut. The very long, palate-staining finish conveys a strong impression of dusty extract. Great potential here." (7/2014) 91-94 points Antonio Galloni: "The 2013 Chablis Valmur is magnificent. (8/2014) 88-90 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2013 Chablis Grand Cru Bougros is more closed on the nose compared to the Blanchots, but well-defined and earthier. The palate was still slightly gassy on the entry but you could still discern attractive notes of orange peel, lime, hints of toffee apple coming through on the finish. Very fine. Drink 2016-2026."
