Bell's Brewery "Two Hearted" India Pale Ale, Michigan 12oz

From the brewery: "Bell's Two Hearted Ale is defined by its intense hop aroma and malt balance. Hopped exclusively with the Centennial hop varietal from the Pacific Northwest, massive additions in the kettle and again in the fermenter lend their characteristic grapefruit and pine resin aromas. A significant malt body balances this hop presence; together with the signature fruity aromas of Bell's house yeast, this leads to a remarkably drinkable American-style India Pale Ale."

Russian River Brewing Co. "Redemption" Blonde Ale, California 375ml (6 bottle limit)

The brewery: "Redemption is the younger sister to our award-winning ale, Damnation. Fashioned after a Belgian-style 'single,' this ale is rarely brewed in America, let alone Belgium. Typically, 'singles' are brewed only at the Trappist Monasteries for the monks to enjoy with meals. They often drink only half a bottle with lunch and the rest with supper, despite the beer's low alcohol content. Redemption is modest in strength, robed in warm golden hues, and soft on the palate with a smooth dry finish." 5.0% ABV / 1.048 O.G / 23 BUs.

21st Amendment Brewery "Down to Earth" IPA, California 12oz Cans

From the brewery: "In 2011, 21st Amendment Brewery launched HAM, the space chimp, into orbit with the release of one of the first and original session ales, Bitter American. Plucked from the jungle floor, HAM was tasked with the important mission of bringing a beer with all the hop aroma and flavor of an IPA, and only 4.4% alcohol, to the people of America. The mission was accomplished and now 21A co-founders Nico Freccia and Shaun O’Sullivan are bringing HAM back to Earth for the national debut of Down to Earth, Session IPA, replacing Bitter American in... Left Hand Brewing "Nitro" Milk Stout, Colorado 12oz

From the brewery: "Taking America Back. Dark & delicious, America’s great milk stout will change your perception about what a stout can be. Pouring hard out of the bottle, Milk Stout Nitro cascades beautifully, building a tight, thick head like hard whipped cream. The aroma is of brown sugar and vanilla cream, with hints of roasted coffee. The pillowy head coats your upper lip and its creaminess entices your palate. Initial roasty, mocha flavors rise up, with slight hop & roast bitterness in the finish. The rest is pure bliss of milk chocolate fullness."

Russian River Brewing Co. "Damnation" Golden Ale, California 375ml

In the great beer producing country of Belgium, some brewers have made it a tradition to give their beers an unusual name. Sometimes the name is curious, now and then it is diabolical and other times it is just plain silly. Damnation is an interpretation of a Belgian style Strong Golden Ale. It has extraordinary aromas of banana and pear with mouth-filling flavors of sweet malt and earthy hops. The lingering finish is dry and slightly bitter but very, very smooth. 7.0%ABV / 1.068 O.G / 25 BUs

Deschutes Brewery "Fresh Squeezed" IPA, Oregon (12oz)

91 points Wine Enthusiast: "Brewed with Citra and Mosaic hops, this IPA is wonderfully fragrant. It leads with a mélange of fruit aromas: mandarin orange, ruby-red grapefruit, passion fruit, mango, pineapple and papaya. Those notes carry through to the medium-weight palate, supported by flavors of bread dough and lightly caramelized malt. A dank stickiness adds depth to the palate and length to the finish." Avery Brewing Company "Lilikoi Kepolo" Wit Beer with Passion Fruit, Colorado 12oz Cans

From the brewery: "Lilikoi Kepolo is a fruit punch to the face. Avery brews the Wibier with loads of fresh lilikoi (yellow passion fruit), and the result is a tropical deliciousness unlike anything else out there. The island fruitiness and creamy body make this a great weekend brunch beer. And what could possibly be more spring than a wet brunch? Catch this one while you can. Anchor Brewing "Anchor Steam" 12oz

Anchor Steam? The perenially popular beer brewed in San Francisco since 1896 derives its name from 19th century slang. Made with an all-malt mash in a copper brewhouse, the beer has a malty nose with a hint of red fruit and caramel. Smooth and enjoyable.

Ballast Point Brewing Company "Grunion" Pale Ale, California 12oz

From the brewery: "Our Grunion Pale Ale wasn’t born on a beach, but in a backyard. Originating from an employee-only home brew contest, this award-winning hoppy pale ale is named after the tiny local fish known for late night frolics on shore. A pair of new hop varieties lend strong yet balanced summer melon aromas and herbal flavors, while a soft caramel malt sweetness holds it all together."

Stone Brewing Co. "Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Aged Arrogant Bastard" Strong Ale, California 12oz

From the brewery: "I awake from a slumber that’s been anything but peaceful. I don’t take kindly to idling and I am anything but neutral. Life has nothing to do with killing time, and the knowledge that months have passed since the onset of my sequestering in this pitch-black oaken tomb (albeit a barrel flush with brilliant aromas of vanilla and char) does not sit well. But then comes a tingle followed by rejuvenating warmth, signs that something is different…something has changed…and for the better. I feel stronger yet somehow more nimble and refined. I... Modern Times "Oneida" Pale Ale, California 16oz Cans

From the brewery: "Oneida is Hallertau Blanc-centric. The bright tropical fruit and lemongrass notes give it an uber-pungent aroma, with the grapefruity citrus of Cascade providing a touch of balance. We've also added experimental hop variety 05256 to the mix, adding a nice hop complexity while keeping it a drinkable pale ale. While more aggressively bitter than Fortunate Islands, Oneida still has a light body and moderate ABV. We're considering making Oneida our spring seasonal, but that's all kind of up in the air."

Victory Brewing "Prima Pils" Pilsner, Pennsylvania 12oz

94 points Wine Enthusiast: "One of America’s most cherished and sought-after pilsners, this is a terrific example of an American pils that’s sure to please any lover of the style. The hops are big and floral on the nose, with more biscuity malt in the mouth playing alongside the notes of fresh citrus. Full and creamy with moderate carbonation and low alcohol, a soft bitterness follows through the long finish and closes on a sweet hop oil note. An excellent companion to food, though certainly enjoyable all on its own as well." (8/2010) K&L Notes: From Pennsylvania's Victory Brewing Company, the ... Read More »

2015 Stone/Farking/Wheaton "W00tstout 3.0" Imperial Stout With Pecans, Wheat and Rye, California 22oz

In celebration of its third brewing, we’ve upped the barrel-aging quotient for 2015, adding to the mix a version of last year’s vintage that we aged in bourbon barrels for a year. Anchor Brewing "California 1896" Lager, California 12oz

From the folks at Anchor Brewing: "Anchor Steam's roots go back to the Gold Rush, long before ice houses and modern refrigeration made traditional lagers a viable California option. In 1876, thanks to an ice pond in the mountains and a belief that anything is possible in the Golden State, a little brewery named Boca created California's first genuine lager. Anchor California Lager is our re-creation of this historic beer. An "A" from the Beer Advocate. This American style IPA looks like liquid gold in your glass with a creamy white head. Bell's Brewery "Oarsman" Ale, Michigan 12oz

From the brewery: "Designed as a flavorful session beer, Oarsman Ale uses a classic German brewing technique to impart a light, refreshing tartness. Oarsman Ale grew out of a desire to explore the tradition of session beers, trading intensity for finesse while still creating a worthwhile experience for the taster. The grain bill includes a healthy portion of wheat, while citrusy hops lend bright notes to the aroma. Fermented with Bell’s house ale yeast, Oarsman comes in at 4.0% alcohol by volume. Smuttynose "Finest Kind" IPA, New Hampshire 12oz

"In 1994 we brewed our first batch of Shoals Pale Ale, our American interpretation of the traditional British ESB (Extra Special Bitter) style. At the time, it was widely considered to be darned hoppy. However, a funny thing happened over the last decade – our Shoals Pale Ale didn’t change; beer lovers did, and we started to hear more and more: “Why don’t you guys make a really hoppy beer?” That’s exactly why we brewed and released in 2003. You could say, then, that Smuttynose IPA is a physical salute to the glory of the American hop grower. The citrusy ... Read More »
