2007 Domaine Ramonet Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2007 Domaine Ramonet Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru (94ST, 94WS, 93BH). Wine Spectator: "This is lively and quite restrained, showing more energy than muscle. Lime, grapefruit, apple and spice flavors build nicely on the palate to a long finish. Still a little raw, so give it at least a year or two to integrate. Best from 2012 through 2026." (02/2010)

2007 Domaine Henri Boillot Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru "Les Pucelles"
Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2007 Domaine Henri Boillot Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru "Les Pucelles" (94BH, 94RP, 91ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Boillot's estate 2007 Puligny-Montrachet Les Pucelles delivers the vibratory interplay of floral, mineral, and fruit elements that one hopes for from this great site in its vintage. Reminiscent of the Perrieres in aromas of peach and quince, here allied to iris and suggestions of high-toned herbal and floral distillates, this lights up the palate, with citrus and hints of nettle and white pepper serving for an almost electric invigoration. Yet, ample glycerin makes for a flattering texture and ameliorates any tendency toward sharpness. It should perform beautifully over the coming decade, doubtless gaining richness in the process. Wine Spectator: "Smells like the sea, or rather fresh shellfish, with butter, iodine and mineral aromas and flavors. This is rich, with vanilla and clove accents fleshing out the background. Best from 2011 through 2024." (02/2010)

2007 Domaine Louis Jadot Corton Charlemagne Grand Cru (OWC)
Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2007 Domaine Louis Jadot Corton Charlemagne Grand Cru (OWC - 95ST, 94BH, 94RP) in original wood. Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Full yellow. Sexy nose combines lime, crushed stone, menthol and wild rose. Very dry and backward, with citrus and crushed stone flavors that saturate the palate. There's a compelling silkiness here, but it's the wine's cut and energy that impress today. The superb rising finish features notes of white flowers and almost metallic minerality. A beauty. 2007 Lucien Le Moine Montrachet "C"

94-96 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The barrel of Le Moine's 2007 Montrachet from the Chassagne side smells bitter-sweetly of honeysuckle, gardenia, and citrus oil. A deep nut past richness informs its silken-textured palate. There is less of the musky or decadent about this than one typically expects from the site, but also more of an overtly chalk-dusty mineral dimension along with fresh citrus and citrus zest pungency that lend an impression of energy. The barrel from the Puligny side didn't even begin its malo until on year of age, and was not yet completely finished (or at least, not ...Read More »

2007 Lucien Le Moine Montrachet "P"

From one of Burgundy's superstar producers, this is a rare find. Lucien LeMoine was established in 1999 by Mounir Saouma, a former Lebanese monk, and his wife Rotem. The duo generally make just a barrel or two of each of their wines, resulting in just 25-50 cases of each bottling. Saouma doesn't make a Montrachet every vintage, and in a handful of vintages he has experimented in bottling his Montrachet from the Puligny and Chassagne sides of the vineyard separately, like in this 2007. (The "P" stands for Puligny.) In his review of the version of the 2007... Read More »
