2012 Domaine de la Pépière "Clisson" Muscadet Sèvre et Maine (1.5L)

Marc Ollivier of Domaine de la Pépière makes some of the finest Muscadet on the market. The Clisson vineyard is in the southern portion of the appellation. The vines range between 50 and 110 years old, and the wine spends two whole years sur lie.

2013 Eric Chevalier "La Noë" Muscadet Côtes de Grand Lieu Sur Lie

A 4 hectare plot of 20-60 year old vines planted on ancient granite. Historical documents have been found giving evidence that there were vines planted here as far back as 1694. This is a very special plot and the wines show it. Very fresh on the palate with good, rich mineral along with ripe citrus. A very understated and pleasant texture and long finish.
