2012 Caymus "40th Anniversary" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1L)
Bid on this 1L-bottle of 2012 Caymus "40th Anniversary" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1L) (96RP, 91WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "I am old enough to remember Chuck Wagner and his father, who I first met at Caymus in the late seventies. This is clearly one of Napa Valley’s iconic wineries, as well as one that, amazingly, never went through a bad patch. Obviously, no matter which generation is in the driver’s seat (or should I say tractor’s seat), Caymus Vineyard knows how to deliver flavor and deliciousness." (10/2014)

1995 Taittinger "Comtes de Champagne" Brut Blanc de Blancs Champagne
Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 1995 Taittinger "Comtes de Champagne" Brut Blanc de Blancs Champagne (97ST, 96RP, 95WS). Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Pale, green-tinged color. Incredible shiver-producing 99-point nose combines peach, lemon, iodine and steely, petrolly, slatey soil tones; I was reminded of Chevalier-Montrachet and great Mosel riesling. Full and creamy-smooth but extremely young. This brilliantly minerally wine seems to thicken and intensify after 10 or 15 seconds in the mouth, offering layer upon layer of soil tones. A superconcentrated Champagne that completely avoids the heaviness shown by some '95s." (12/2002)

Bid on this 5-bottle lot of 1999 Fattoria Le Pupille "Saffredi" Maremma Toscana (93WS, 92RP). Wine Spectator: "Extremely ripe, almost raisiny, with loads of raspberry and cherry character, yet there's a sophistication, a subtlety, to the wine. Full-bodied, with velvety tannins and a silky, well-defined finish. A pure and pretty wine." (10/2001)

2005 S.A. Prüm Wehlener Sonnenuhr Riesling Auslese Goldcapsule #24
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2005 S.A. Prüm Wehlener Sonnenuhr Riesling Auslese Goldcapsule #24. Family-owned S.A. Prüm, founded in 1911 by Sebastian Alois Prüm, has been in the hands of Raimund Prüm, head winemaker and Sebastian’s grandson, since 1971. Under Raimund’s leadership the property has earned a reputation as one of the most successful wineries in Germany’s celebrated Mosel wine region. Over 15 acres of S.A. Prüm’s holdings are located within the famed Wehlener Sonnenuhr (“sundial of Wehlen”) domain. Named for the historic sundial painted on an outcrop of slate by a Prüm ancestor back in 1842, the incredibly steep Wehlener Sonnenuhr vineyard is a renowned source of what is arguably Germany’s finest Riesling. Here vines average 80 years and older and benefit from plentiful sunshine – a critical factor in the world’s northernmost wine producing country.

1983 Roederer "Cristal" Brut Champagne
Bid on this bottle of 1983 Roederer "Cristal" Brut Champagne (93AG). Antonio Galloni: "A soft, feminine wine, the 1983 Cristal is all about balance and harmony. Round, seamless and impeccable, the 1983 is a gorgeous spot today where the flavors are mature, yet the wine retains enough depth to deliver considerable pleasure for at least another handful of years, although there is no more upside to be had. Still, it is amazing to see just how much the 1983 gains with air. Hints of caramel, almonds and spices round out the finish. This is a very pretty Cristal. (AG)" (10/2014)
