2005 Haut-Bergey, Pessac-Léognan
Bid on this bottle of 2005 Haut-Bergey, Pessac-Léognan (92RP, 91WS, 90CG, 90ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "One of the finest under-the-radar estates in Pessac-Leognan, Haut-Bergey’s 2005 (a blend of 65% Cabernet Sauvignon and 35% Merlot) offers up aromas of scorched earth, wet stones, burning embers, charcoal, and copious black currant and cherry fruit. The sumptuous bouquet is accompanied by a full-bodied wine displaying dazzling purity, sweet tannin, and a long, opulent finish. This beauty will be drinkable at a relatively early age for a 2005. Anticipated maturity: 2010-2025." (04/2008)

2005 Poujeaux, Moulis
Bid on this bottle of 2005 Poujeaux, Moulis (93WE, 91W&S). Wine Enthusiast: " An intensely ripe, fruity wine, which is already well integrated. The intense dark fruits are supported by some new wood and grainy tannins. This is powerful, and, with its acidity, should age well. " (06/2006)

Full body, with super fine tannins and a fruity finish. Refined and very pretty. Structured in the end. Fresh. Succulent. A style away from the over extracted one a few years ago. Try after 2018." 2005 Tablas Creek "Esprit de Beaucastel Panoplie" Paso Robles Rhône Blend
Bid on this bottle of 2005 Tablas Creek "Esprit de Beaucastel Panoplie" Paso Robles Rhône Blend (95AG, 94ST). Antonio Galloni: "The 2005 Esprit de Beaucastel is a real head-turner. Vibrant and perfumed to the core, the 2005 races across the palate with dark red and black fruit, tobacco, spices and leather. For a wine of its age the 2005 is endowed with superb energy and vibrancy that serves to balance some of the more overt elements. Sweet floral notes add perfume and further layers of nuance. This is a fabulous showing from Tablas Creek. (AG)" (07/2014)

2012 Auguste Clape "Renaissance" Cornas
Bid on this bottle of 2012 Auguste Clape "Renaissance" Cornas (95RP, (90-92ST)). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The entry level Cornas that gets some young vines, the 2012 Cornas Renaissance is just like the straight Cornas, only slightly softer and more approachable. Cassis, black raspberry, leather, crushed rock and liquid mineral-like qualities all give way to a full-bodied, concentrated, yet elegant and thrillingly pure Cornas that can be enjoyed anytime over the coming decade or more. While it doesn't get any more Cornas than Clape, these wines also speak just as loudly of the domaine as they do of the steep granite slopes of the appellation. There's always something unique in these wines, something bloody, meaty and iron-like, and I've yet to find something similar in other wines. In my opinion, these wines are the epitome of Cornas.
