Bell's Brewery "Two Hearted" India Pale Ale, Michigan 12oz

From the brewery: "Bell's Two Hearted Ale is defined by its intense hop aroma and malt balance. Hopped exclusively with the Centennial hop varietal from the Pacific Northwest, massive additions in the kettle and again in the fermenter lend their characteristic grapefruit and pine resin aromas. A significant malt body balances this hop presence; together with the signature fruity aromas of Bell's house yeast, this leads to a remarkably drinkable American-style India Pale Ale."

Left Hand Brewing "Nitro" Milk Stout, Colorado 12oz

From the brewery: "Taking America Back. Dark & delicious, America’s great milk stout will change your perception about what a stout can be. Pouring hard out of the bottle, Milk Stout Nitro cascades beautifully, building a tight, thick head like hard whipped cream. The aroma is of brown sugar and vanilla cream, with hints of roasted coffee. The pillowy head coats your upper lip and its creaminess entices your palate. Initial roasty, mocha flavors rise up, with slight hop & roast bitterness in the finish. The rest is pure bliss of milk chocolate fullness."

Stone Brewing Company "Enjoy By - 7.4.15" Double IPA, California 12oz

From the brewery: "You have in your hands a devastatingly fresh double IPA. While freshness is a key component of many beers - especially big, citrusy, floral IPAs - we've taken it further, a lot further, in this IPA. You see, we specifically brewed it NOT to last. We've not only gone to extensive lengths to ensure that you're getting this beer in your hands within an extraordinarily short window, we made sure that the Enjoy By date isn't randomly etched in tiny text somewhere on the label, to be overlooked by all but the most attentive of retailers and ... Anchor Brewing "Anchor Steam" 12oz

Anchor Steam? The perenially popular beer brewed in San Francisco since 1896 derives its name from 19th century slang. 'Steam' was a widely used nickname for beer brewed on the west coast, and this Bay Area brew epitomizes NorCal charm. Made with an all-malt mash in a copper brewhouse, the beer has a malty nose with a hint of red fruit and caramel. Smooth and enjoyable.

Anchor Brewing "California 1896" Lager, California 12oz

From the folks at Anchor Brewing: "Anchor Steam's roots go back to the Gold Rush, long before ice houses and modern refrigeration made traditional lagers a viable California option. In 1876, thanks to an ice pond in the mountains and a belief that anything is possible in the Golden State, a little brewery named Boca created California's first genuine lager. Anchor California Lager is our re-creation of this historic beer. Made in San Francisco with two-row California barley, Cluster hops (the premier hop in 19th-century California), and our own lager yea... Read More »

Russian River Brewing Co. "Damnation" Golden Ale, California 375ml

In the great beer producing country of Belgium, some brewers have made it a tradition to give their beers an unusual name. Sometimes the name is curious, now and then it is diabolical and other times it is just plain silly. Damnation is an interpretation of a Belgian style Strong Golden Ale. It has extraordinary aromas of banana and pear with mouth-filling flavors of sweet malt and earthy hops. The lingering finish is dry and slightly bitter but very, very smooth. 7.0%ABV / 1.068 O.G / 25 BUs

Victory Brewing "Prima Pils" Pilsner, Pennsylvania 12oz

94 points Wine Enthusiast: "One of America’s most cherished and sought-after pilsners, this is a terrific example of an American pils that’s sure to please any lover of the style. The hops are big and floral on the nose, with more biscuity malt in the mouth playing alongside the notes of fresh citrus. Full and creamy with moderate carbonation and low alcohol, a soft bitterness follows through the long finish and closes on a sweet hop oil note. An excellent companion to food, though certainly enjoyable all on its own as well." (8/2010) K&L Notes: From Pennsylvania's Victory Brewing Company, the ... Read More »

Stone Brewing Co. "Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Aged Arrogant Bastard" Strong Ale, California 12oz

From the brewery: "I awake from a slumber that’s been anything but peaceful. I don’t take kindly to idling and I am anything but neutral. Life has nothing to do with killing time, and the knowledge that months have passed since the onset of my sequestering in this pitch-black oaken tomb (albeit a barrel flush with brilliant aromas of vanilla and char) does not sit well. But then comes a tingle followed by rejuvenating warmth, signs that something is different…something has changed…and for the better. I feel stronger yet somehow more nimble and refined. I... Deschutes Brewery "Fresh Squeezed" IPA, Oregon (12oz)

91 points Wine Enthusiast: "Brewed with Citra and Mosaic hops, this IPA is wonderfully fragrant. It leads with a mélange of fruit aromas: mandarin orange, ruby-red grapefruit, passion fruit, mango, pineapple and papaya. Those notes carry through to the medium-weight palate, supported by flavors of bread dough and lightly caramelized malt. A dank stickiness adds depth to the palate and length to the finish." Smuttynose "Finest Kind" IPA, New Hampshire 12oz

"In 1994 we brewed our first batch of Shoals Pale Ale, our American interpretation of the traditional British ESB (Extra Special Bitter) style. At the time, it was widely considered to be darned hoppy. However, a funny thing happened over the last decade – our Shoals Pale Ale didn’t change; beer lovers did, and we started to hear more and more: “Why don’t you guys make a really hoppy beer?” That’s exactly why we brewed and released in 2003. You could say, then, that Smuttynose IPA is a physical salute to the glory of the American hop grower. The citrusy ... Read More »

Gaffel Kölsch, Germany 12oz

The laws protecting the brewing of Kolsch are as strict as Germany's Purity Law of 1516. Kolsch Beer can only be brewed within the city of Cologne. As the best-known Kolsch Brewery, Gaffel's flavor is derived from an ale yeast that is "lagered" or aged in cold cellars. Gaffel is pale and faintly fruity with a crisp hop finish. The city of Cologne or Koln is located on the Rhine River and north of Munich. In Koln, Germany's third largest city, Kolsch beer is nearly the only beer people drink. Gaffel Kolsch is the favorite of Koln. 5% ABV

Bell's Brewery "Oarsman" Ale, Michigan 12oz

From the brewery: "Designed as a flavorful session beer, Oarsman Ale uses a classic German brewing technique to impart a light, refreshing tartness. Oarsman Ale grew out of a desire to explore the tradition of session beers, trading intensity for finesse while still creating a worthwhile experience for the taster. The grain bill includes a healthy portion of wheat, while citrusy hops lend bright notes to the aroma. Fermented with Bell’s house ale yeast, Oarsman comes in at 4.0% alcohol by volume.
