A stunning Tuscan olive oil. Made by one of our favorite Chianti Classico producers, this spicy oil is made almost exclusively from their thousand-plus, mostly Coreggiolo variety olive trees, which are grown in the "coltura promiscua" mannner, interspersed with other fruit trees on the Montegrossi estate. It has vegetal, artichoke-like notes, plus a lightly sweet hint of apple. Here's a great finishing oil that adds luster and spice to pasta, fish and salads.

Acclaimed by food writers around the world, Frescobaldi Laudemio is an estate-produced oil from the hills of Chianti Ruffina. All producers of Laudemios must adhere to strict guidelines established by the Laudemio consortium. Frescobaldi Laudemio is consistently rated "Exceptional" and was rated #1 Tuscan Oil by Wine Spectator. This delicious olive oil is in the very cute 250 ml size--perfect for stocking stuffers. This is the very rare, first pressing of 2014.

Here at K&L we very rarely carry anything in a bottle that does not contain wine or spirits, so you can be sure that when we bring in an olive oil it stands head and shoulders above most others! Unfiltered and extremely fruity, use this to cook, if you dare, but it is especially lovely on salads and cold vegetables.
