2008 Tenuta San Guido "Sassicaia" Toscana
Bid on this bottle of 2008 Tenuta San Guido "Sassicaia" Toscana (97WE, 96JS, 96RP, 94WS). Wine Enthusiast: " **Cellar Selection** Recently implemented winemaker and cellar changes make this one of the best Sassicaias ever. This Cabernet Sauvignon-Cabernet Franc blend delivers thick concentration and sun-kissed aromas of black fruit, prune, dried bay leaf, black olive and tobacco. The thick, fertile soils that characterize the magical strip of coastal Tuscany at Bolgheri help shape amazing richness and intensity." (02/2012)

2006 Kongsgaard "Vio Rous" Napa Valley Viognier-Roussanne
Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2006 Kongsgaard "Vio Rous" Napa Valley Viognier-Roussanne (95RP, 94ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "One of California’s most exotic whites is Kongsgaard’s innovative blend of Roussanne and Viognier. It is reminiscent of some of Sine Qua Non’s whites. The 2006 Roussanne/Viognier (60% and 40% respectively) exhibits classic aromas of rose petals, lychee nuts, pineapples, honeysuckle, and a touch of lilacs. This exotic, exuberant wine will either be loved or hated by consumers. I happen to love it. (RP)" (12/2007)

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The light straw/green-colored 2004 Chardonnay Belle Cote offers an exotic nose of tropical fruits, litchi nuts, tangerines, and brioche. Gorgeous acidity buttresses the wine’s full-bodied, concentrated mouthfeel and freshness. It could easily pass for a grand cru from Chassagne-Montrachet. (RP)" (12/2006)

2008 Maybach Family "Materium" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this bottle of 2008 Maybach Family "Materium" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (96RP, 95WE, 94ST, 94WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2008 Materium comes from a single block called the Weitz Vineyard at a 1,000-foot elevation on the eastern hillsides of Oakville. It would be hard to improve upon the virtually perfect 2007, but the 2008 is not far behind. Notes of graphite, blueberry, charcoal, spring flowers, and some background oak are followed by a dense, purple-colored wine with full-bodied power, great elegance, precision, and purity. This is again an extraordinary effort from Maybach. It should drink well for 20-25 years. (RP)" (12/2010)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2000 Melville "Clone 115 Indigene" Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir (93RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The blockbuster 2000 Pinot Noir Clone 115 exhibits a deliriously intoxicating nose of jammy red and black fruits intermixed with spicy oak, minerals, and spring flowers. Once past the explosive, complex aromatics, it delivers on the palate with expansive, full-bodied, seamless, deep flavors. The finish lasts 40+ seconds. It should drink well for 4-6 years." 2002 Marquis d'Angerville Volnay 1er Cru "Clos des Ducs"
Bid on this bottle of 2002 Marquis d'Angerville Volnay 1er Cru "Clos des Ducs" (93BH, 92RP, 92ST). Allen Meadows - Burghound: "Even after 10 years this remains almost as primary as when it was bottled as there are no secondary hints in evidence on the elegant and pure red berry fruit and stone-infused nose. The detailed, intense and strongly mineral-driven medium-bodied flavors possess a sophisticated mouth feel while coating the palate with dry extract. There is a noticeably firm acid spine on the moderately austere and gorgeously persistent finish. This is a distinctly understated vintage for Clos des Ducs that seems to be evolving at a glacially slow pace...As d'Angerville suggests, these '02s are brilliantly balanced and while they may not last quite as long as the more structured '99s, they are genuinely stunning wines. 1988 Lamarche Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru “La Grand Rue”
Bid on this bottle of 1988 Lamarche Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru “La Grand Rue” . Ancestors of the Lamarche family were already established in the village of Vosne-Romanée in around 1740. Since the end of the 19th century (for five generations), the estate has grown bigger over the years: Henri Lamarche, a cooper, married Marie Grivelet from Chambolle-Musigny and founded the estate at the beginning of the 20th century He produced, matured and already sold his wines directly from the estate. Their son, Henri Lamarche, born in 1903, took over the estate. He inherited la Grande Rue in 1933, the year of his marriage to Aline Demur (La Grande Rue became a grand cru for the INAO in 1989, the decree being passed in 1992). They would have four children, including François, who took over the reins of the estate when his father died in 1985.

Bid on this bottle of 2002 Domaine Michel Lafarge Beaune-Greves 1er Cru ((89-91BH)). Allen Meadows - Burghound: " **Outstanding** Very ripe red cherry, strawberry and pinot fruit aromas explode from the glass and introduce exceptionally fresh and exuberant, sappy and pure medium weight flavors underpinned by dusty, textured tannins and plenty of finishing velvet and silk. There is an utterly seductive inner mouth perfume and the length is most impressive. As good a young Lafarge Grèves as I can recall at this stage." (04/2004)

2002 Pahlmeyer Napa Valley Merlot
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2002 Pahlmeyer Napa Valley Merlot (95RP, 93ST, 91WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Made from a blend of 96% Merlot and 4% Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2002 Merlot is the ultimate Merlot in terms of pure, seductive prowess. It possesses a dense purple color in addition to a gorgeous perfume of espresso roast, melted fudge, black currants, cherries and subtle smoke as well as earth, great intensity, and full-bodied opulence, in a voluptuous, juicy, unctuously textured style that cascades over the palate with no hard edges. This is haute couture of Merlot. Moreover, while it has always been open and accessible, this 2002 will last for another 15-20 years given its concentration. (RP)" (06/2012)

2009 Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey Bienvenues-Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru
Bid on this bottle of 2009 Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey Bienvenues-Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru. According to the importer, Michael Skurnik Wines: "Pierre Yves Colin was the winemaker for his father's Domaine Marc Colin until 2005. He began his own domaine, first as a micro-négociant operation, focusing on tiny quantities of the finest wines that he can buy. Now he has grown his domaine with the help of family holdings to 70% plots that he owns and 30% grapes he purchases. His holdings are mostly in Chassagne-Montrachet (where the domaine is located) but he also produces multiple bottlings of Meursault, St. Aubin, and Puligny-Montrachet. Pierre-Yves has rapidly become a star in Cote de Beaune and is now considered one of the pre-eminent young producers of White Burgundy. His choice to use larger demi-muid barrels and eschew the use of battonnage, makes each one of his bottlings a clear expression of its terroir and a study in mineral-driven Chardonnay. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer to Kalon Vineyard CCS is Clone 4 from another block, and always seems to hit all the sweet spots on my palate. It’s aged 20 months in 100% new Darnajou barrels. The good news is there are 520 cases of it. Just a prodigious wine, this spectacular Cabernet Sauvignon is inky bluish/purple with a gorgeous nose of spring flowers, blueberry, blackberry and cassis fruit, a touch of background toast and graphite. It has a very full-bodied, multidimensional mouthfeel and a skyscraper-like finish. It is fabulously open, sexy and a total thrill to smell and taste. Dense plum/purple-colored with notes of Asian soy, porcini mushrooms, roasted meats, barbecue spices and lots of blueberry, plum, raspberry and black currant fruit, it is a deep, full-bodied, opulent tour de force in winemaking. A blend of 84% Syrah, 8% Grenache, 4% Petite Sirah and the rest Roussanne and Petite Manseng, this beauty was fermented with 17% whole clusters and aged in equal parts new and used French oak. One of the shining successes in the vintage, it’s a full-bodied, concentrated and layered Syrah that has awesome aromatics of blackcurrants, Peking duck, pepper, licorice and charcuterie in its seamless, thrillingly pure profile. 1974 Heitz Cellar "Martha's Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 1974 Heitz Cellar "Martha's Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "I had this wine twice over a period of thirty days, rating it an astounding 99 and 98 points. A monumental California Cabernet Sauvignon, it appears to have approached its plateau of maturity but should easily last for 20-25 more years. There is no rust, amber, or brown to the saturated dark purple color. The spectacular, huge, Mouton-Rothschild-like nose of mint, cassis, lead pencil, and toast is remarkably youthful. Staggeringly concentrated, this full-bodied, super-rich wine possesses moderate tannin, fresh, lively acidity, and a blockbuster, rich, fleshy finish. This is a monumental effort! (And 94 points Neil Martin: 'The legendary ’74! A deep mahogany core with a tawny rim." (08/1994)

Wine Enthusiast: "Corton is the largest grand cru in Burgundy (all of 240 acres) and its style can vary widely. Bouchard has gone for a relatively soft style, emphasizing fruits, raspberry, myrtle and black currants, topped with acidity. It is a light, delicious wine, but probably not for aging. " (12/2008)

1999 Domaine des Remizieres Hermitage "Cuvee Emilie"
Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 1999 Domaine des Remizieres Hermitage "Cuvee Emilie" (96RP, 92ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Philippe Desmeures's 1999 Hermitage Cuvee Emilie rouge (1,000 cases) is a candidate for the "Hermitage of the vintage." About 70% of the grapes for this cuvee emerge from old vines located in L'Hermite (on the crown of the great dome of Hermitage) and the remainder from Les Rocoules. This extraordinarily intense offering boasts an opaque black/purple color (reminiscent of a cult Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa) as well as a sumptuous nose of sweet blackberry liqueur intermixed with espresso, licorice, tobacco, minerals, and toast. There is massive flavor concentration, multiple layers, full body, purity, and beautifully integrated acidity and tannin. This compelling Hermitage should evolve for three decades. (RP)" (04/2002)

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2001 Chappellet "Pritchard Hill" Estate Napa Cabernet Sauvignon (97CG, 94WE, 92RP). Connoisseurs Guide: "Absolutely riveting aromas of currants, cocoa, very rich oak and layers of minerals and loamy earth set this serious wine apart from the rest of the field from the very first sniff, and its opulent, fully stuffed flavors make good on the promise. It is as deep and as rich as any of the Cabernets under current review, and its stands among the very best of the vintage when it comes to structure, balance and wine-making polish as well. A convincingly ageworthy wine that will grow for a decade or more, it is nothing short of a tour de force effort and confirms Chappellet's pre-eminent place as a maker of superb Cabernet Sauvignon." 1999 Domaine Michel & Stéphane Ogier Côte-Rôtie
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 1999 Domaine Michel & Stéphane Ogier Côte-Rôtie (95RP, 94WS, 93ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The finest Cote Roties Ogier has made (and he agrees) are the 1999s. The fabulous, opaque purple-colored 1999 Cote Rotie, which spent two years in wood (30% new), reveals a glorious bouquet of bacon fat, creme de cassis, licorice, violets, and spice box. It is full-bodied, with sweet tannin, great presence in the mouth, and a knock-out finish. Although it will be approachable in its youth, 3-4 more years of cellaring will be beneficial. Anticipated maturity: 2004-2018. Michel Ogier and his son, Stephane, are producing spectacular wines. The only problem is that production is small. As I indicated last year, Ogier's 1999s are magical. (RP)" (04/2002)

2004 Screaming Eagle Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this bottle of 2004 Screaming Eagle Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (97RP, 94ST, 94WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: " Aged 20 months in 72% new French oak, this blend of 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 13% Merlot and 2% Cabernet Franc comes from a great vineyard on the valley floor in Oakville, just south of Rudd Estate and Plumpjack. The wine’s dense ruby/purple color is followed by a beautiful, Pauillac-like (think Pontet Canet or Mouton), ethereal perfume of creme de cassis, or as Michael Broadbent used to say, 'celestial black currants,' full body, a velvety texture, fine tannins, a multidimensional mouthfeel, and a terrific finish. While there were no real surprises tasting this wine, I was somewhat intrigued by just how youthful the 2004 Screaming Eagle is showing. I had expected it to reveal slightly more evolution. I thought the 13% Merlot in the blend would push the evolution more quickly. The finish lasts for a full minute. As it has been in just about every vintage, the 200

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Scarecrow Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (OWC - 98RP, 96AG, (93-96ST)) in original wood. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The classic 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon included fruit from the 2-acre, old vine parcel that is nearly 70 years of age. It boasts an opaque purple color as well as copious notes of spring flowers, blackberries, black raspberries and wet rocks. The wine’s gravelly minerality and spectacular opulence and density make it an instant classic. This massive, full-bodied 2012 should drink beautifully for 15-20+ years. Here the aromas and flavors are on the darker side of red, but it is more the wine’s muscle and textural plushness that distinguishes it.
