This big, mountain-styled 2001 exhibits lots of structure, tannin, density and powerful flavors. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "More European in style than some of its siblings, the 2008 exhibits good acidity, more noticeable tannin (but it is extremely young), and plenty of crushed rock, espresso roast and licorice characteristics intermixed with a volcanic minerality. Full-bodied, ripe and opulent, with a closed, formidable personality, it should be at its apogee between 2018 and 2035. 96+ (RP)"

Bid on this bottle of 2010 Paul Hobbs "Beckstoffer Las Piedras Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (95JS, 95RP, 94ST, 93WE, 91WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "From one of the great sites in Oakville, the 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Las Piedras Vineyard bristles on the palate with considerable energy and focus. Freshly cut flowers, red berries and crushed rocks all come to life in the glass. In 2010 Las Piedras stands out for its bright, intense salinity, which is the essential characteristic of this site. The 2010 needs at least a few years in bottle to settled down, but it is drop-dead gorgeous, even today. Anticipated maturity: 2020-2030. 95+ (AG)"

Bid on this bottle of 2008 Maybach Family "Materium" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (96RP, 95WE, 94ST, 94WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2008 Materium comes from a single block called the Weitz Vineyard at a 1,000-foot elevation on the eastern hillsides of Oakville. It would be hard to improve upon the virtually perfect 2007, but the 2008 is not far behind. Notes of graphite, blueberry, charcoal, spring flowers, and some background oak are followed by a dense, purple-colored wine with full-bodied power, great elegance, precision, and purity. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer to Kalon Vineyard CCS is Clone 4 from another block, and always seems to hit all the sweet spots on my palate. It’s aged 20 months in 100% new Darnajou barrels. The good news is there are 520 cases of it. Just a prodigious wine, this spectacular Cabernet Sauvignon is inky bluish/purple with a gorgeous nose of spring flowers, blueberry, blackberry and cassis fruit, a touch of background toast and graphite. It has a very full-bodied, multidimensional mouthfeel and a skyscraper-like finish. It is fabulously open, sexy and a total thrill to smell and taste. 1974 Heitz Cellar "Martha's Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 1974 Heitz Cellar "Martha's Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "I had this wine twice over a period of thirty days, rating it an astounding 99 and 98 points. A monumental California Cabernet Sauvignon, it appears to have approached its plateau of maturity but should easily last for 20-25 more years. There is no rust, amber, or brown to the saturated dark purple color. The spectacular, huge, Mouton-Rothschild-like nose of mint, cassis, lead pencil, and toast is remarkably youthful. Staggeringly concentrated, this full-bodied, super-rich wine possesses moderate tannin, fresh, lively acidity, and a blockbuster, rich, fleshy finish. This is a monumental effort! Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2001 Chappellet "Pritchard Hill" Estate Napa Cabernet Sauvignon (97CG, 94WE, 92RP). Connoisseurs Guide: "Absolutely riveting aromas of currants, cocoa, very rich oak and layers of minerals and loamy earth set this serious wine apart from the rest of the field from the very first sniff, and its opulent, fully stuffed flavors make good on the promise. It is as deep and as rich as any of the Cabernets under current review, and its stands among the very best of the vintage when it comes to structure, balance and wine-making polish as well. A convincingly ageworthy wine that will grow for a decade or more, it is nothing short of a tour de force effort and confirms Chappellet's pre-eminent place as a maker of superb Cabernet Sauvignon." 2004 Screaming Eagle Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this bottle of 2004 Screaming Eagle Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (97RP, 94ST, 94WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: " Aged 20 months in 72% new French oak, this blend of 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 13% Merlot and 2% Cabernet Franc comes from a great vineyard on the valley floor in Oakville, just south of Rudd Estate and Plumpjack. The wine’s dense ruby/purple color is followed by a beautiful, Pauillac-like (think Pontet Canet or Mouton), ethereal perfume of creme de cassis, or as Michael Broadbent used to say, 'celestial black currants,' full body, a velvety texture, fine tannins, a multidimensional mouthfeel, and a terrific finish. While there were no real surprises tasting this wine, I was somewhat intrigued by just how youthful the 2004 Screaming Eagle is showing. I had expected it to reveal slightly more evolution. I thought the 13% Merlot in the blend would push the evolution more quickly. The finish lasts for a full minute. As it has been in just about every vintage, the 200

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Scarecrow Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (OWC - 98RP, 96AG, (93-96ST)) in original wood. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The classic 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon included fruit from the 2-acre, old vine parcel that is nearly 70 years of age. It boasts an opaque purple color as well as copious notes of spring flowers, blackberries, black raspberries and wet rocks. The wine’s gravelly minerality and spectacular opulence and density make it an instant classic. This massive, full-bodied 2012 should drink beautifully for 15-20+ years. Bid on this bottle of 2012 Quilceda Creek Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon ((97-100RP)). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "More approachable, but no less impressive, the 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon (100% Cabernet Sauvignon) looks gorgeous, and is probably the most complete wine in the lineup. Layered and rich, yet ultra-pure and also elegant, it gives up classic crème de cassis, lead pencil shavings, licorice and liquid flower like qualities to go with full-bodied richness and depth on the palate. A mild spring and summer with only a handful of heat spikes was followed by beautiful weather in September and October. One of the finest Private Reserves made over the last two decades, this phenomenal wine is obviously still an infant in terms of development, but it exhibits a dense purple color as well as an extraordinary nose of blackberries, white chocolate, licorice, tobacco leaf, smoky barbecue, charcoal and a burning ember-like note reminiscent of a Graves from Bordeaux. 1999 Dunn Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1999 Dunn Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon (95AG, (90-93RP), 93WS). Antonio Galloni: "The tasting ends on a high note, as the 1999 Cabernet Sauvignon Howell Mountain is deeply expressive, despite its obvious youth. Here it is the wine's sense of energy that stands out most. Vivid, nuanced and structured, the 1999 is a wine to cellar for another 5-10 years at a minimum to allow the flavors to flesh out. Readers lucky enough to own the 1999 who can wait a few years will be very happy. 95+ (AG)" (02/2014)

1996 Pichon-Baron, Pauillac
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 1996 Pichon-Baron, Pauillac (91RP, 90ST, 90WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Pichon Longueville Baron's 1996 has turned out to be even better than I thought from cask. The high percentage of Cabernet Sauvignon in the blend (about 80%) resulted in a wine that has put on weight in the bottle. An opaque purple color is accompanied by beautiful aromas of tobacco, new saddle leather, roasted coffee, and cassis. It is dense, medium to full-bodied, and backward, with moderately high tannin, but plenty of sweet fruit, glycerin, and extract to balance out the wine's structure. This well-endowed, classic Pauillac should be at its finest between 2006-2022." (04/1999)

1996 Léoville-Barton, St-Julien
Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 1996 Léoville-Barton, St-Julien (92RP, 92ST, 91WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "This impressive wine is a classic. Although backward, it exhibits a dense ruby/purple color in addition to abundant black currant fruit intertwined with spicy oak and truffle-like scents. The wine is brilliantly made, full-bodied, and tightly-structured with plenty of muscle and outstanding concentration and purity. It should turn out to be a long-lived Leoville Barton, and somewhat of a sleeper. However, patience will be required. Anticipated maturity: 2007-2030. (RP)" (04/1999)

2004 Larkmead "Solari Reserve" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2004 Larkmead "Solari Reserve" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (99RP, 94WS, 92ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Another titan of Napa Valley is Larkmead’s 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon Solari Reserve. Composed of 90% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Petit Verdot, it is a sumptuous, virtually perfect expression of wine with an inky/purple color, beautiful floral aromas intermixed with sweet, pure black currants and hints of licorice as well as subtle oak. The extraordinary ripeness of the tannins, the flawless integration of acidity, tannin, wood and alcohol, the remarkable finish, and the full-bodied texture make for a tour de force in winemaking. It can be drunk now, but will benefit from another 2-3 years of cellaring. It will age effortlessly for 20-40+ years. (RP)" (04/2014)

2003 Angélus, St-Emilion
Bid on this bottle of 2003 Angélus, St-Emilion (99RP, 94WS, 93JS, 92ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "One of the great successes in St. Emilion in 2003, this wine has actually gotten better over the last eleven years. Pushing perfection, this blend of 57% Cabernet Franc (the highest ever at Angelus) and 43% Merlot boasts a dense purple color as well as a sublime set of aromatics, including forest floor, blue, red and black fruits, charcoal and hints of licorice and wood spice. Long, opulent, voluptuously textured and incredibly youthful and fresh, this full-bodied, tour de force in winemaking is an absolute legend in the making. It is an incredible accomplishment for a Right Bank 2003. Kudos to Hubert de Bouard for his vision as well as his perfectionist personality. This beauty should age for 5-10 more years. 1975 Margaux, Margaux
Bid on this bottle of 1975 Margaux, Margaux. Wine Spectator: "This has given way to the remnants of a sinewy, cedary spine, with dried blood orange and bitter cherry notes and flickers of clove and tobacco. Almost a shell of a wine now, but still there's elegance and length hanging on, as the DNA of the vineyard lingers. (Web-2014)"

2009 Abreu "Madrona Ranch" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this bottle of 2009 Abreu "Madrona Ranch" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98AG, 97RP). Antonio Galloni: "The 2009 Proprietary Red Madrona Ranch opens with beguiling notes of smoke, tar, incense and graphite. Layers of fruit blossom in the glass as this fleshy seductive wine continues to open up. Rich and multi-dimensional, the 2009 impresses for the way it covers every inch of the palate. This is a drop-dead gorgeous wine from David Abreu and Brad Grimes. The 2009 is 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Cabernet Franc, 10% Petit Verdot and 5% Merlot. (Antonio Galloni)"

2004 Cos d'Estournel, St-Estèphe
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2004 Cos d'Estournel, St-Estèphe (95JS, 94WS, 92RP, 91ST). James Suckling: "*Daily Collectibles* This is another example of the wonderful 2004 vintage for Bordeaux. They are so delicious to drink now. The Cos is one of the best out there. And very reasonably priced at less than $150 a bottle. The charcuterie that hits you as soon as you open this Bordeaux is overwhelming: It's smoky, spicy and sexy. Minutes later you realize the complexity on offer, catching just a scent of the dark fruits hidden beneath, and before those, long and wonderful hints of balsamic vinegar. On the palate this shows elegance and finesse thanks to fabulous balance, extremely integrated tannins and a long and glorious finish. This is so satisfying and wonderful now, but the slightly bitter aftertaste on the rear palate suggests this could do with at least another 10 years before opening. " (08/2014)

Bid on this bottle of 2009 Maybach Family "Materium" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (95RP, 94ST, 92WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon Materium from the Weitz Vineyard reveals lots of minerality along with sweet red and black currants, licorice, graphite and spring flowers. Deep and full-bodied, it is displaying a lot of tannin in addition to a reserved, backward, brooding style. Everything is there for super enjoyment and high quality, but patience is required. 95+ (RP)" (10/2013)

2012 Schrader "Colesworthy - Beckstoffer Las Piedras Vineyard" Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L)
Bid on this magnum of 2012 Schrader "Colesworthy - Beckstoffer Las Piedras Vineyard" Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (95RP, 94WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A selection of the best barrels of this wine, representing only 110 cases or basically 41/2 barrels, is the 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Las Piedras Vineyard Colesworthy. This is largely Clone 337, aged 20 months in 100% new Darnajou. This is deep, rich, full, backward and not quite as easy to access as its sibling, although at some point the Schraders and Thomas Brown thought these were the best barrels from Las Piedras. It seems to share much of its siblings opaque purple color, lots of coffee, blackberry and cassis fruit, charcoal and graphite, but seems to also require more bottle age to round into shape. Forget it for 3-4 years and drink it over the following 20-25 years. (RP)" (10/2014)
