2007 Mount Eden "Estate" Santa Cruz Mountains Chardonnay

94 points Wine Enthusiast: "This is a big, vital Chardonnay brimming with fresh acids and oak, whose underlying pineapple, pear and lemon-lime flavors are delicious. Despite the richness, it's dry and crisp in acidity, with a minerally tang. Drink now." (2/2011)93 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The Mount Eden 2007 Chardonnay Estate (normal release) comes across as quite lush and fat relative to the Reserve tasted alongside it. This is a sweet, generous style, with beautifully filled out layers of fruit and an open, inviting personality, while the Reserve is decidedly more mineral-driven and pointed. Vintage 2007 was ...Read More »

94 points from Robert Parker: "The sensational 2007 Chardonnay Rancho Santa Rosa exhibits a light to medium gold color, notes of white peaches, quince, crushed rocks, honeysuckle, and marmalade, a sensational texture, and a full-bodied mouthfeel. Crisp acidity buttresses the wine’s weight, providing terrific delineation and purity. 2007 Chasseur Sonoma County Chardonnay

92 points from Robert Parker: "The beautiful 2007 Chardonnay Sonoma County exhibits more flesh along with full body, plenty of honeysuckle, citrus oil, and pineapple characteristics, and an alluring texture. Drink this over the next 4-5 years. All of these Chardonnays see about 60% new French oak. 2007 Kendall Jackson "Camelot" Highlands Estate Santa Maria Valley Chardonnay

93 points Robert Parker: "The highest production comes from the 2007 Highland Estates Chardonnay Camelot Vineyard (3,700 cases), which exhibits abundant amounts of pineapple, honeysuckle, and peach along with hints of brioche and caramel. Its full-bodied, luscious finish exhibits a subtle note of oak. This Chardonnay should drink well for several years...The third level in the Kendall-Jackson hierarchy is the Highland Estates cuvees, all essentially single vineyard wines from some of Jess Jackson’s finest sites. 2007 Aubert "Lauren Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Chardonnay

98 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The most flamboyant wine at present is the 2007 Chardonnay Lauren Vineyard. It reveals more tropical fruit, pineapple, orange marmalade, lemon blossom, creme brulee, and white peach notes as well as superb acidity, and a full-bodied texture as well as mouthfeel. It, too, will age well for a decade." (2/2010)95 points Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Bright yellow. Knockout nose combines underripe pineapple, lemon drop, apple, pear, crushed stone, spices and minerals, plus a whiff of goat cheese that reminded me of a Burgundy from pure calcaire Supersweet and rich but with lovely harmonious acidity ...Read More »

2007 Aubert "Reuling Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Chardonnay

98 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Lemon rind, nectarine oil, baked apple, crushed rock, white flower, quince, and subtle smoky characteristics emerge from the 2007 Chardonnay Reuling Vineyard. It also displays that slight greenish hue (that comes from chlorophyll) to its straw color, fabulous fruit, unbelievable texture, and a 40+ second finish. (RP)" (2/2010)93 points Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Good bright medium yellow. Pure but subdued nose shows more spices and saline earth tones than fruit today. Then lush and sweet but with a light touch, with a softer impression of acidity than the Ritchie bottling and more stoniness ...Read More »
