2008 Ridge "Monte Bello" Santa Cruz Mountains Chardonnay
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2008 Ridge "Monte Bello" Santa Cruz Mountains Chardonnay (95RP, 93ST, 93WS, 92JS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2008 Chardonnay Monte Bello emerges from the glass with layers of rich, varietal fruit supported by firm minerality and just a touch of French oak. The Monte Bello spends an additional three months in neutral oak and therefore also sees more stirring of the lees, yet it remains fresh, vibrant and beautifully focused all the way through to the finish. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2018...I think the wines Draper is making today will prove to be far superior to the wines of decades past, many of which are rightly considered legendary. 2000 Lynch-Bages, Pauillac
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2000 Lynch-Bages, Pauillac (97RP, 96WS, 95JS, 95WE, 94ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Beginning to open magnificently, the still dense purple-colored 2000 reveals a blossoming bouquet of blackberries, cassis, graphite and pen ink. Full-bodied with velvety tannins that have resolved themselves beautifully over the last eleven years, this wine is still an adolescent, but it exhibits admirable purity, texture, mouthfeel and power combined with elegance. One of the all-time great examples of Lynch Bages, the 2000 is just beginning to drink well yet promises to last for another 20-25+ years. (RP)" (08/2011)

Bid on this bottle of 2009 Schrader "Beckstoffer To Kalon - T6" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (97RP, 97WS). Wine Spectator: "Pure, rich, dense and structured, with a mix of loamy earth, cedar, gravel and dark berry fruit that echoes mocha, melted black licorice, anise and espresso. Tightens nicely on the finish, where the tannins flex their strength. Best from 2014 through 2031. 290 cases made." (09/2012)

2010 Sine Qua Non "Five Shooter" Central Coast Syrah
Bid on this bottle of 2010 Sine Qua Non "Five Shooter" Central Coast Syrah (98AG, 98RP, 94ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2010 Syrah Five Shooter is straight up gorgeous. A massive wine that somehow holds everything together, it offers a wild array of cassis, blackberry, white chocolate, underbrush and pepper that flows to a full-bodied, layered Syrah that has masses of fine tannin and enough substance to evolve for decades. A blend of 85% Syrah, 5% Grenache, 3% Petite Sirah, 5% Roussanne and 2% Viognier that was fermented with 20% whole cluster and aged 22 months in 59% new French oak, it opens up beautifully in the glass and should be decanted if drinking anytime soon. 2010 Quilceda Creek Columbia Valley Bordeaux Blend
Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2010 Quilceda Creek Columbia Valley Bordeaux Blend (92RP, 91ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A superb entry level effort that has not only layers of fruit and texture, but solid back-end structure, the 2010 Red Wine is a declassified blend of mostly Cabernet Sauvignon, yet has 15% Merlot and a splash of Malbec, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc in there as well. Up-front, perfumed and intense, it offers up spice-laced red and black fruits, toast, cedar, vanilla and hints of chocolate to go with a full-bodied, mouth-filling and voluptuously textured palate. Lacking the polish and elegance that can be found in this estate’s upper tier efforts, it nevertheless has superb fruit, ripe tannin and serious length. Enjoy it while you wait for this estate’s other wines to mature. Drink now-2020." (06/2013)

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2008 Domaine Henri Boillot Volnay 1er Cru "Les Chevrets" ((91-94ST), 90RP). Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Bright ruby-red. Expressive, very ripe nose combines black cherry, wild herbs, leather, smoke and earth. Wonderfully sweet and silky but bright, with a creamy small-berry character to the intense flavors of black cherry, iron, dark chocolate and minerals. For all its density, this conveys a juicy quality and considerable elegance. " (03/2010)

Rocky and clenched today, with the medicinal fruit component currently hidden by reduction. On the dry side and difficult to taste in its present stage. From 35-year-old vines, which Pascal Marchand describes as "the minimum age for me."" (02/2012)

2011 Domaine Michel Lafarge Volnay "Vendages Sélectionnées"
Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2011 Domaine Michel Lafarge Volnay "Vendages Sélectionnées" (90BH). Allen Meadows - Burghound: "**Outstanding** A complex mélange of both red and blue pinot fruit is laced with touches of spice, herbal tea, earth and dried flowers. There is very fine depth to the vibrant and solidly concentrated middle weight flavors that possess a lovely sense of underlying tension on the mineral-inflected, mildly austere and impressively persistent finish. An excellent villages that offers fine aging potential yet it could actually be enjoyed now too." (04/2014)

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2010 Domaine Taupenot-Merme Gevrey-Chambertin ((89-91BH)). Allen Meadows - Burghound: "**Outstanding** This is cooler and more restrained than its Chambolle and Morey villages counterparts with distinct notes of underbrush, humus and plenty of pungent earth on the airy wild red and dark berry fruit aromas. The attractively rich medium-bodied flavors possess an abundance of dry extract and a relatively refined mouth feel thanks to the fine-grained tannins, all wrapped in a firm and moderately austere finish. While qualitatively similar, each of the three villages wines has its own unique personality and all of them are recommended." (01/2012)

1999 Mommessin Clos de Tart Grand Cru

Allen Meadows - Burghound: "The oak that sat atop the fruit for so long has now almost completely integrated, allowing the relatively fresh aromas of black cherry, violets and earth hints to have center stage. The supple yet detailed middle weight plus flavors are attractively vibrant and restrained while culminating in a moderately austere finish where the mouth coating tannins are still noticeably firm and ever so slightly dry, which may be due to wood tannins. 2013 Aubert "Eastside Vineyard" Russian River Valley Chardonnay
Bid on this bottle of 2013 Aubert "Eastside Vineyard" Russian River Valley Chardonnay ((98-100RP), 95AG). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2013 Chardonnay East Side (1,000 cases produced) comes from a vineyard owned by Ulises Valdez and planted with the Montrachet clone. It is the rockiest site in the Aubert portfolio. Amazingly, it sees 100% new oak, but you would never know that from smelling or tasting the wine. Copious aromas of wet rocks, almond paste, honeysuckle, pineapple and white peach are followed by a full-bodied, stunningly rich yet crisp, vibrant, zesty Chardonnay that should drink well for a minimum of 10 years. Bid on this bottle of 2011 Peter Michael "Ma Danseuse" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir ((92-94RP), 92AG, 92ST, 91WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: " The more mortal 2011 Pinot Noir Ma Danseuse exhibits sweet notes of raspberry jam, currants, camphor and powdered rock. This attractive, elegant, medium to full-bodied 2011 is more evolved and fruit-forward than the 2009 or the perfect 2010. The 2011 will drink well for 8-12 years. (RP)"

2011 Dominus Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2011 Dominus Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (94AG, 94W&S, 93JS, 90ST). Wine & Spirits: "Christian Moueix and his team at Dominus have experience with rainy vintages in Bordeaux. They also farm a site that is particularly well adapted to draining excess water. So they produced a remarkable 2011, a late vintage challenged by rain close to harvest. It’s proof that a challenge met can create something sublime—like this floral, red-raspberry-scented vintage of Dominus. It’s a tense chord of flavor incorporating green herb, tobacco, cassis and raspberry in a lasting harmony. The sophisticated structure suggests it will age with grace, while the gentleness of that structure will make it accessible along the way. A great bottle for lamb. " (10/2014)

2012 Sine Qua Non In the Abstract Proprietary White
Bid on this bottle of 2012 Sine Qua Non In the Abstract Proprietary White (97RP, 94AG). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "In the same league, the 2012 In The Abstract is a classic Sine Qua Non white blend of 37% Chardonnay, 31% Roussanne, 16% Petite Manseng and 16% Viognier. Coming from roughly equal parts Bien Nacido, Cumulus and Eleven Confessions vineyard, it spent just under 19 months in 48% used barrels (1-4 years old), 27% new French oak and the balance in concrete eggs. It sports a slightly darker color than the Chardonnay and offers up incredible notes of caramelized peaches, poached apples, white flowers and crushed rock that flow seamlessly to a full-bodied, decadent, yet classy and graceful feel on the palate. It’s a classic effort that doesn’t pull any punches, yet also never seems hot, heavy or puts a foot wrong. Enjoy this beauty over the coming decade or more. (JD)" (08/2014)

2009 Calera "Selleck" Mt. Harlan Pinot Noir
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2009 Calera "Selleck" Mt. Harlan Pinot Noir (95RP, 93ST, 91BH). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Another highlight among these new releases, the 2009 Pinot Noir Selleck Vineyard is made in a much more fruit-driven style than some of the other Pinots in this lineup. It boasts stunning depth and richness, but in the classic Calera style that never abandons a sense of structural finesse. Juicy dark berries, hard candy, flowers and herbs wrap around the rich, textured finish. This is yet another dazzling Pinot from Calera. Selleck is a site with a south/southwestern exposure. Anticipated maturity: 2014-2024. Readers who want to experience the finest Pinot Noirs being made in California should put Calera at or near the top of their lists. The 2009s are simply breathtaking in their beauty. I am not sure why I was so blown away by the estate’s 2009s, as the entry-level 2009 Central Coast Pinot I reviewed last year provided more than enough clues as to the quality of

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2002 Cliff Lede Vineyards "Poetry" Cabernet Sauvignon (OWC - 96RP, 91WS, 90ST) in original wood. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "As I recall, the first vintage of Cliff Lede wines I tasted was 2005, so this was the first time I tasted the 2002 Cabernet Sauvignon Poetry, a blend of 88% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Merlot and the rest tiny quantities of Cabernet Franc, Malbec and Petit Verdot from the Stags Leap District. It is still a youthful wine, it has a dense purple color as well as a stunning nose of spring flowers, asphalt, graphite, black currants, blueberries, raspberries and kirsch intermixed with hints of smoke and charcoal. 2002 Bond "St. Eden" Napa Valley Red Blend
Bid on this bottle of 2002 Bond "St. Eden" Napa Valley Red Blend (100RP, 96WE, 95ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2002 St. Eden, which comes from a valley floor vineyard in the Oakville corridor, is unreal. I had given the 2001 a perfect score, but the 2002 (made by the brain trust of on-site winemaker Bob Levy and outside French consultant Michel Rolland) is showing incredible elements of cedarwood, licorice, chocolate and creme de cassis as well as exquisite texture, full-bodied intensity, and unbelievable purity and length. It is only the second vintage for this vineyard, leased by Bill Harlan for several decades, and it has turned out to be a killer Cabernet Sauvignon and a great classic of Napa. Full-bodied yet beautifully silky and seductive, it has shed most of its tannins, resulting in a complex, singular red wine of majestic proportions. The finish is among the longest of any 2004 I tasted, and gorgeous levels of fruit and extract hide any notions of new oak. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: " The opaque purple-hued 2005's excellent bouquet of licorice-infused blueberries interwoven with crushed rock, white flower, and cassis scents emanates gently but forcefully from this full-bodied Margaux. The wine is extremely pure and elegant, with sensational texture (a characteristic of so many ‘05 Margaux), a boatload of ripe tannin, and a 45-second finish. While there is tremendous power, depth, and fruit, it does not come across as too heavy or overbearing. Anticipated maturity: 2011-2027." (04/2008)

2002 Lokoya Mount Veeder Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this bottle of 2002 Lokoya Mount Veeder Cabernet Sauvignon (100RP, 94WE, (92-94WS), 93ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Absolutely perfect, the 2002 Cabernet Sauvignon Mt. Veeder comes from a terroir that seems to produce magical wines (for example, 1997 and 2001). Aged in 100% new French oak with malolactic in barrel and no fining or filtration, this 2002 came in at 15% alcohol. Prodigious notes of incense, lead pencil shavings, black raspberry liqueur, blueberries, blackberries and cassis give this wine a stunning perfume. Full-bodied, opulent, voluptuously textured and built like a skyscraper on the mid-palate and finish, this is profound mountain Cabernet Sauvignon that should hit its peak in 5-7 years and last for 30 years thereafter. Wow! Kudos to Chris Carpenter and the Jackson Family. (RP)" (06/2012)

2009 Smith-Haut-Lafitte Rouge, Pessac-Léognan
Bid on this bottle of 2009 Smith-Haut-Lafitte Rouge, Pessac-Léognan (100RP, 96JS, 96WS, 94ST, 94WE). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The finest wine ever made by proprietors Daniel and Florence Cathiard, the 2009 Smith-Haut-Lafitte exhibits an opaque blue/purple color in addition to a glorious nose of acacia flowers, licorice, charcoal, blueberries, black raspberries, lead pencil shavings and incense. This massive, extraordinarily rich, unctuously textured wine may be the most concentrated effort produced to date, although the 2000, 2005 and 2010 are nearly as prodigious. A gorgeous expression of Pessac-Leognan with sweet tannin, emerging charm and delicacy, and considerable power, depth, richness and authority, it should age effortlessly for 30-40+ years. Bravo!" Bid on this bottle of 2001 Angélus, St-Emilion (93RP, 92WS, 91ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A brilliant performance by Hubert de Bouard, the 2001 Angelus is a more restrained and deliniated version of the 2000...Its deep purple color is followed by a rich nose of creosote, charcoal, blackberries, plums, cassis and espresso roast. Elegant, medium bodied and rich, with a measured ripeness and moderate structure in the pure, nicely proportioned finish...beautifully put together. Anticipated maturity: 2007-2017." (06/2004)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 1998 Gosset "Celebris" Vintage Extra Brut Champagne (96RP, 94WE, 93ST, 93W&S, 92WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 1998 Extra Brut Vintage Celebris is a beautifully focused, linear wine that sparkles on the palate with the essence of white peaches, pears, quince and flowers. This medium-bodied yet structured wine offers phenomenal persistence, along with chalky, minerally notes that give the wine its superb liveliness and sense of freshness. 1999 Palmer, Margaux
Bid on this bottle of 1999 Palmer, Margaux (95RP, 92ST, 91WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 1999 is the greatest Palmer made since 1961, 1966, 1970, 1983, and 1989. It is one of the superstars of the vintage. The wine is a blend of 48% Cabernet Sauvignon, 46% Merlot, and 6% Petit Verdot. It boasts a staggering bouquet of violets and other spring flowers intermixed with licorice, black currants, and subtle wood. Only 50% of the production made it into the grand vin. This is a multidimensional, compelling effort with both power and elegance, it offers sweet tannin along with flavors that caress the palate, and a 45-second finish. This is terrific stuff! Pure class and finesse in this, it is round and thick, long and very yummy. No need to wait on this, pull the cork. This vintage had more Merlot than the 2000 and you can tell. A subtle wine." 2003 Pavie, St-Emilion
Bid on this bottle of 2003 Pavie, St-Emilion (99RP, 96WS, 92ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "At its release, the 2003 Pavie was somewhat controversial in wine tasting circles, but eleven years later it is obviously a great classic. Its deep purple color is accompanied by notes of vanillin, lead pencil shavings, creme de cassis, plums, black currants and kirsch. Full-bodied, youthful and rich with terrific purity and texture as well as a striking opulence, its 40+-second finish, stunning purity and wonderful perfume suggest it can be drunk now or cellared for 15-20 years." 1995 Pichon-Lalande, Pauillac
Bid on this bottle of 1995 Pichon-Lalande, Pauillac (96RP, 94WS, 92ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "What sumptuous pleasures await those who purchase either the 1996 or 1995 Pichon Lalande. It is hard to choose a favorite, although the 1995 is a smoother, more immediately sexy and accessible wine. It is an exquisite example of Pichon-Lalande with the Merlot component giving the wine a coffee/chocolatey/cherry component to go along with the Cabernet Sauvignon's and Cabernet Franc's complex blackberry/cassis fruit. The wine possesses an opaque black/ruby/purple color, and sexy, flamboyant aromatics of pain grille, black fruits, and cedar. Exquisite on the palate, this full-bodied, layered, multidimensional wine should prove to be one of the vintage's most extraordinary success stories. (RP)" (02/1998)

Bid on this bottle of 2007 Buccella Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (96RP, 93JS, 93ST, 93WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The blockbuster 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon is more primary, but it does display enormous fruit concentration, massive body, and wonderful purity, balance, and elegance. It is an extraordinarily promising 2007 with awesome fruit, depth and richness as well as a long finish. This offering will be even better with 5-7 years of bottle age, and should keep for 20+ years. 2003 Abreu "Madrona Ranch" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this bottle of 2003 Abreu "Madrona Ranch" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (96RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2003 Madrona Ranch, which is largely Cabernet Sauvignon, possesses a freshness that almost belies the vintage character. Its dense purple color is just beginning to reveal some garnet. The nose exhibits abundant floral notes intermixed with notions of blueberries, black raspberries and licorice-infused cassis. Graceful, elegant, and close to full maturity, it is drinking beautifully, displaying secondary nuances, a supple, full-bodied texture and a lush, layered mouthfeel. There is not a bit of aggressiveness, and the tannins, wood and alcohol are all beautifully integrated. As one might expect, this is one of the vintage’s superstars. Drink it over the next 10-15 years. (RP)" (06/2013)

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "An inky/plum/purple color is accompanied by a stunning bouquet of violets, charcoal, creme de cassis and a hint of toast. Prodigious when it hits the palate with a full-bodied expansiveness, there is not a hard edge to be found in the 1997, only velvety tannins, compelling depth and fruit intensity, and stunning purity. It is a perfect expression of Napa viticulture and wine that should continue to age effortlessly for two decades or more. (RP)" (11/2013)

1989 Margaux, Margaux
Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 1989 Margaux, Margaux (97WS, 90RP). Wine Spectator: "This is about as alluring as it gets aromatically, with singed alder, juniper, bay and charcoal notes out front, hinting at power but turning beguiling as they flow into the core of steeped red currant, dried currant and black tea. The charcoal note makes an encore, with a lovely twinge of old-school character holding the finish. Always a great debate vis-à-vis the '90, but the slightly darker profile here gives this wine a lovely bit of extra drama. (Web-2014)"
