2012 Adelsheim Willamette Valley Pinot Noir Top Pick!
2012 Adelsheim Willamette Valley Pinot Noir

92 points Wine Enthusiast: "*Cellar Selection* This is an impressive effort, especially considering it is the winery’s mass-production cuvée. All in proportion, it’s built upon an acid/mineral base, with tangy, just-ripe berry fruit. It feels quite delicate, yet has the persistence and structure of a more substantial wine. Aged for 10 months in one-quarter new French oak, it’s worth tucking a few bottles away for a long-term look." (12/2014)92 points Wine Spectator: "*Smart Buys* Taut, tart and surprisingly generous, blooming with juicy, cranberry-accented blackberry, cherry and spice flavors that linger easi ...Read More »

2013 Domaine Drouhin "Arthur" Dundee Hills Chardonnay

94 points Wine Enthusiast: "*Editors' Choice* From 20-year-old, Dijon clone estate vines, this substantial, tongue-gripping Chardonnay has intense depth of flavor. A luscious mix of grapefruit, apple, melon, spice and mineral elements, it drives down through the palate and never quits." (4/2015)93 points Wine & Spirits: "Another fine study in chardonnay by the esteemed family from Beaune, this wine’s voluptuous ripeness makes it more demonstrative and plump than the Edition Limitée. Its ripe pineapple and pear accents are buoyed by mouthwatering, mouthfilling acidity and a leesy textural grip. Give it some ag ...Read More »

2013 Bethel Heights/K&L Wine Merchants Eola-Amity Hills Pinot Noir (Previously $25)

Great Buy - Just Reduced! On our recent trip to Oregon this summer we certainly found plenty of great wines and met with a multitude of amazingly talented people. Many of the wines we found on that trip have already come in and sold out mostly due to our sheer excitement about the quality of wines we found. One of the most exciting opportunities from that trip was to work closely with our friends at Bethel Heights to put together a Pinot Noir exclusive to K&L as part of our burgeoning Co-Branded project. This 2013 Bethel Heights/K&L Wine Merchants Eola-A... Read More »

2013 Eyrie Vineyards Dundee Hills Pinot Gris

92 points Wine Enthusiast: "*Editors' Choice* The lovely wines from this pioneering estate, now in the capable hands of second-generation winemaker Jason Lett, are generally priced well below any comparable efforts. Here the texture and minerality evoke surpassing elegance. Lime, grapefruit, a bite of pineapple all come into play, with the depth and balance that suggests several years of life ahead." 2011 Evening Land Eola-Amity Hills Pinot Noir (Elsewhere $40)

91 points Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Vivid red. High-pitched red berry and cherry aromas are complemented by white pepper and allspice. Silky and seamless in texture, offering energetic redcurrant and bitter cherry flavors that slowly gain sweetness as the wine opens with air. Closes on a subtly smoky note, with very good clarity and fine-grained tannins." (7/2014)91 points Wine & Spirits: "The Eola-Amity Hills excels in this sort of smoky, mineral-driven red, a Pinot with brooding density. While marked by lavish oak, that doesn’t take away from the vibrancy of its fruit. For the moment it’s exhibiting mostly structur ...Read More »

2013 Evesham Wood Willamette Valley Pinot Noir

Evesham Wood harvests their entry-level 2013 from several vineyards in Northern Willamette Valley. With a focus on quality viticulture, these vineyards are all dry-farmed and cultivated sustainably. Grapes are harvested and sorted by hand, fermented in small lots, and aged in French oak (10% new) for 10 months before bottling. This adds up to an excellent value for deftly handmade and terroir-driven Pinot Noir. The winery describes the profile as "Bright and crunchy with cranberry, red cherry and cinnamon with a bit of firmness on finish."

2012 Eyrie Vineyards "Estate Grown" Willamette Valley Pinot Noir

This is textbook Pinot Noir, with just-ripe raspberry and cherry fruit, vivid acidity, savory herb, and a foundation of clay and clean earth. Drink now-2024." (10/2014)92 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2012 Willamette Valley Pinot Noir is now supplemented by purchased fruit from outside the estate, fermented mostly in small 4- and 8-hectoliter vats to enable a cool ferment as the heat escapes from the top before it has time to build. 94 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2012 Pinot Noir Louise Vineyard, which is often the first and last fruit to be harvested because part of the vines lack sunshine late in the afternoon. It has a well-defined and very natural bouquet with ebullient red berry fruit intermixed with rose petals and cedar. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannin, wonderful focus and superb tension right to the finish. This feels a little more compact and backward than Cristom's other 2012, but there is clearly breeding and sophistication here." 2012 A to Z Oregon Pinot Noir

Allen Meadows - Burghound: "A fruity but attractively complex and softly spicy nose mixes both red and dark currant aromas with briar and earth hints. There is a sleek and restrained mouth feel to the equally fruity middle weight flavors that that offer reasonably good length though not the depth suggested by the nose. This is attractive in its fashion and could be enjoyed now." (1/2015) Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Brilliant red. Red berries and herbs on the spice-inflected nose and palate. 95 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2012 Pinot Noir Marjorie Vineyard is the only vineyard on its own roots planted in 1982 at a low density (1500 vines per hectare). There is phylloxera in the vineyard, so it is gradually being replaced. This vintage is the first that is not entirely from the old vines and contains a single barrel of new vines. The bouquet is quite natural and refined without shortchanging you on fruit: mulberry and red plum, a little orange blossom and a hint of vanilla pod. It contains around 40% whole-cluster fruit (one of the central tenets at Cristom), and only undergoes one racking during its 12 months in barrel: one just before filtration and then just before bottling. The exceptional 2012 vintage delivers a wine with unusual concentration for its price. It presents a refreshing mix of briary berry, mineral, hints of chive, pepper, chocolaty barrel notes and a suggestion of yeast, and is finished with fine-grain tannins." 2013 Chehalem "Sext-Ridgecrest Vineyard" Ribbon Ridge Riesling (Previously $25)

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2013 SEXT Riesling, which has just a tiny bit of pétillance, contains 7% alcohol and 7.4% residual sugar. It has a "direct" bouquet of dried pineapple and beeswax aromas that are nicely defined, though not as complex as the Wind Ridge Riesling. The palate is intriguing (in a positive way) because the "sparkle" is more noticeable than I expected and it instantly refreshes not just the mouth, but your body from head to toe. No, it's not an intellectual Riesling, but what a perfect aperitif." (3/2015) Wine Enthusiast: "Turning to Moscato-levels of sweetness and alcohol, th ...Read More »

94 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "As with Pinot, there is no "Summum" bottling from selected rows or barrels this year, so Evening Land’s 2011 Chardonnay Seven Springs La Source reflects all of their best vines and lots. White peach and citrus dominate a luscious, creamy yet vibrantly juicy palate whose sense of richness and sheer density go beyond that of the "regular" Seven Springs bottling, yet without sacrificing clarity, or sheer juicy refreshment - though in buoyancy and mouthwatering salinity that ostensibly "lesser" wine holds the edge. (8/2014) Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Vivid ruby. Black raspberry, musky flowers and anise on the nose.
