1990 Roederer "Cristal" Rosé Champagne
Bid on this bottle of 1990 Roederer "Cristal" Rosé Champagne in original wood. What could be better that Cristal from a legendary vintage like 1990? Only the Rosé version of the wonderful 1990 Cristal (rated by Parker at 97 points) can trump that! This is strawberries and cream in a glass, offering mature hints of caramel and toast along with very vibrant and deceptively young notes of citrus and acidity. Broad shouldered and long, there may be no greater bubbly to usher in the New Year or to pour at your most elegant holiday dinner.

1978 Taittinger Collection "Vasarely" Brut Champagne
Bid on this bottle of 1978 Taittinger Collection "Vasarely" Brut Champagne. This is the debut vintage of Taittinger's Collection series, originally released in 1983. The goal of this collection is to unite Champagne and art by commissioning artists to design special edition bottles. This stunning bottle's design comes from optical artist Victor Vaserely, as the wine's name indicates. Making this cuvée all the more rare, the 1978 harvest was one of the smallest in the history of Champagne since the pre-war period (78 million bottles). This highly-collectible Champagne was produced from 40% Chardonnay grapes from the best vineyards in the Côte de Blancs and 60% Pinot Noir harvested from the best vineyards on the Montagne de Reims.

Disgorged August 2013. Drink now through 2027. " (12/2014)

Bid on this magnum of 1996 Roederer "Cristal" Rosé Champagne (1.5L) (96RP, 96ST, 95AG, 95W&S, 93WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 1996 Cristal Rose could turn out to be even better, in fact today it appears to be moving ahead of Cristal. The boisterous, exuberant fruit literally jumps out of the glass in a heady display of sheer class. Roses, flowers and minerals of all sorts are layered into a mousse of unbelievable elegance and polish. (AG)" (11/2010)

Bid on this bottle of 1970 Moet & Chandon "Cuvée Dom Pérignon" Brut Champagne. Winemaker notes: "A wine that has remained very fresh and young, with a very fruity attack on the nose, redolent of grapefruit and with the floral hints of white flowers. On the palate, notes of caramel, notes of caramel and toasted almonds. Not particularly long in the mouth." (Dominique Foulon, 02/1993)

Big-boned and intense, yet with finesse and complex flavors of coconut, whole-grain bread, ginger, citrus and honey. Waves of flavor saturate the palate and the long finish picks up a mineral and smoke note. Very harmonious from start to finish. Drink now through 2020." (11/2005)

1990 Moët & Chandon "Cuvée Dom Pérignon" Brut Champagne
Bid on this bottle of 1990 Moët & Chandon "Cuvée Dom Pérignon" Brut Champagne (98RP, 93ST, 92WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Medium lemon-straw colour. Intensely fragrant nose with aromas of jasmine, cinnamon buttered toast, stewed apples and preserved ginger. Concentrated honey-nut, warm apple tart and spice flavours fill the mouth giving ample flesh to the firm, fine structure. The bubbles are still remarkably frisky and, in harmony with the crisp backbone of acid, make for a relatively youthful, elegant and exquisitely balanced wine. Very long finish. (LPB)" (03/2009)

1996 Krug Brut Champagne (1.5L)
Bid on this magnum of 1996 Krug Brut Champagne (1.5L) (100W&S, 99ST, 99WS, 98AG, 98RP). Wine & Spirits: "It's hard to imagine how a wine of this power can sustain perfect balance. What is now a more nonchalant intensity in the aroma was, in fact, too much to handle when we tasted this last year, as if the wine had no time for mere humans with their limited sense receptors. If you stop to taste ripe pear, ginger spice, apple blossom and butterscotch the wine leaves you lost in random flavor descriptors as it soars off into a vinous glow that lasts for minutes. This may well be the greatest vintage wine of Henri Krug's career (unless it is challenged by the 2002). It is impossible to predict how long this wine will thrive in bottle, though considering the current fine condition of the 1959 Krug, the first 50 years are a given." (12/2008)

2002 Louis Roederer "Cristal" Brut Champagne
Bid on this bottle of 2002 Louis Roederer "Cristal" Brut Champagne (100W&S, 99JS, 98WE, 96CG, 96RP, 92WS, 91ST). Wine & Spirits: "If a wine could ever make you want to pull the top down on your '68 Ferrari convertible, rip off the rearview mirror and take off, this is it. It has a different kind of energy than the '02 Cristal Rosé, which is more ethereal, like strawberries at the right hand of some ancient Gallic god. This is more insolent, brash, earth bound. All the scents and flavors seem to emanate from limestone, as does the acidity, which hits at the front of the mouth and powers through the wine with the kind of solar energy that lifts mist off the white chalk on a cool morning in Cramant. The wine goes on for miles. It's already irresistable, and will only improve with ten, 20, 30 and 40 years of age." (12/2009)

2002 Louis Roederer "Cristal" Brut Champagne (qty: 1)

2002 Dom Pérignon Brut Rosé Champagne
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2002 Dom Pérignon Brut Rosé Champagne (98RP, 95ST, 95WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Unfortunately there is only one new release from Dom Perignon on the market, but what a wine it is! The 2002 Brut Rose explodes from the glass with endless layers of huge, voluptuous fruit, A big, full-bodied wine, the 2002 is probably the most overly vinous, intense Rose ever made by long-time Chef de Caves Richard Geoffroy. Layers of cool, insistent minerality balance the fruit beautifully on the crystalline, vivid finish. The 2002 will be nearly impossible to resist young, but take my word for it; the wine is extremely closed right now. Anticipated maturity: 2015-2032." (11/2012)

Refined in texture and persistent on the long, truffle-laced finish. " (12/2014)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 1995 Krug Brut Champagne (98WS, 96WE, 95ST, 94RP). Wine Spectator: "**Collectibles & Ranked #26 on Top 100 Wines of 2006** A very youthful '95. Delicate. Intense aromas of ginger, citrus, candied berry and multigrain bread turn to honey, roasted almonds and graphite on the palate. It's all underscored by a precise structure and creamy texture. Its structure keeps it persistent through the long finish. A picture of precision and intensity. Drink now through 2025." (07/2006)

2004 Louis Roederer "Cristal" Brut Rosé Champagne
Bid on this bottle of 2004 Louis Roederer "Cristal" Brut Rosé Champagne (98W&S, 94RP). Wine & Spirits: "Few of the noble wines of the world have the effortless grace of Cristal Rosé. The Pinot Noir for the blend, planted in the 1960s, grows in the center of the slope in Aÿ. Its flavors are more focused on the soil than fruit, as if the vines are bent on extracting the scent of fossilized seashells from the limestone their roots explore. Jean-Baptiste Lécaillon blends the Pinot Noir with 40 percent Chardonnay from Avize, creating a wine with flavors that reach the horizon line, and an ethereal fragrance that last for minutes after each taste, bright, weightless, elusive and grand."

1996 Moet & Chandon "Cuvée Dom Pérignon" Brut Champagne
Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 1996 Moet & Chandon "Cuvée Dom Pérignon" Brut Champagne (97BH, 96RP, 96WE, 94ST, 93WS). Allen Meadows - Burghound: "A distinctly reticent but elegant nose with a purity of expression that is truly impressive to experience as it's relatively high-toned and while the yeast comes up with air, it's relatively muted at present, combining with intense, precise and superbly detailed and complex flavors that culminate in an explosive and wonderfully long finish. This may very well rival the sublime '90 in time even if it's not quite as concentrated. This is still a baby so there is absolutely no rush whatsoever." (10/2007)

Of the 1996 Salon "Le Mesnil" Brut Blanc de Blancs Champagne,Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "The 1996 Salon is yet another wine that is maturing splendidly. Once focused to the point of being painfully austere and angular, today the 1996 Salon has begun to soften and fill out. My latest bottles have been rich, generous and totally compelling in every way. (AG)" (11/2010)

1995 Moet & Chandon "Cuvée Dom Pérignon" Brut Rosé Champagne
Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 1995 Moet & Chandon "Cuvée Dom Pérignon" Brut Rosé Champagne (95RP, 94WE, 93ST, 92WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The Dom Perignon Rose often does not perform well until around ten years of age, and the 1995 is revealing a bold, medium pink salmon color followed by broad berry notes intermixed with a smoky/earthy character. Rich, full-bodied, backward, and tannic, it should hit its peak in 2-3 years, and last for a decade thereafter. Readers should remember that the 1971 Dom Perignon Rose is still drinking exquisitely. I recently had the 1969 and 1970 Dom Perignons (from magnum), and both were drinking brilliantly. It makes one realize just how long-lived these wines can be." (12/2005)
